"Aggghhhhhh!� Tanya threw the vases against the walls. She proceeded to destroy everything in her apartment, anything breakable that is.

"Ouch!� She stopped when she felt the stitches in her arm come loose and blood trickle down from her freshly inflicted scar. She angrily sat herself down on her bed in a huff. Tears of anger flowed down her cheeks as she looked at her once beautiful face in the broken mirror. The more she looked, the crazier she got and finally threw a lamp at the already broken mirror, shattering it into a thousands pieces, some of which flew into her skin and eyes.

"Ahhhhhhhh!!� Tanya screamed in anguish, rolling over in her bed as she continued to sob bitterly.

"Oil�You can�t do this to me! I�m always the winner! Not Nook!� Tanya grasped her bed sheets and clenched her fists. �I ALWAYS GET WHAT I WANT! I�M ALWAYS THE WINNER!� She screamed at the top of her lungs as pounded on her bed.

She suddenly sat up while breathing heavily. She pushed the stray strands of hair away from her face, and when they wouldn�t obey, she ripped them out of her head. She reached for her nightstand and pulled out a gun. She had a crazy look on her face as she polished the gun with the strands of hair she had pulled out.

"I always get what I want�� She spoke to herself, �And if I can�t be happy�then no one will!� She began laughing hysterically and fell back onto her bed while pointing the gun every which way.

"I have to go see him!� Tanya sat up and started looking around the room for something to wear, �Yes�I have to see him�he still loves me!� She picked up her purse and shoved the gun inside as she stumbled out of her apartment.

SCCCRRRREEECCCHHHH�.

Tanya�s tires left a burning mark on the asphalt as she parked over 3 parking spaces. She got out and started inside.

"Miss!� The security guard yelled at her, �It�s illegal to park like that! You have to move your car!� He ran up to her side but backed away like a coward when he saw her face. Tanya glared at him, and as soon as he shriveled away, she proceeded to go inside the building.

"That�s not a person!� The security guard was scared out of his wits, �it�s a monster!�

*Ding*

The elevator reached the 5th floor, employees parted the way for Tanya as she stomped her way down the hall. Their faces filled with horror as they saw her ghastly appearance. Clad in red, she looked like an escapee from the depths of Hell.

She could careless what they thought, but even as she tried to reassure herself, their stares stung her like acid. As she rounded the corner, she stopped and smiled�she was here.

"Mmmm� Oil yawned as he looked over the morning�s paperwork.

"Tired already? But it�s just the start of the day?� Nook laughed a little at Oil�s tired expression.

"Well, I have been taking care of a certain �someone� all week that I�ve deprived myself of some sleep�� Oil answered mockingly.

"Hmph! No one asked you to�� Nook pretended to be angry and got up to head for the door.

Oil rushed over and locked his arms around her waist, �Awww I�m sorry�forgive me?� He smiled cunningly and looked up at Nook while holding out his pinky.

Nook took his pinky and without looking at him and smiled secretly, �I was just going to get you some coffee,� she explained.

"Well then, it that case�I want it dark�because I�ve already had something sweet�� He laughed and walked back to his desk while winking at her.

"Right�� Nook shook her head, �Yet another dumb joke�� She turned the doorknob and went out.

Oil looked after her and smiled profusely. Since she got better, Nook had been helping him at the office. Apparently, he found out some employees had been trying to smuggle money into overseas accounts in his name and now the money was nowhere to found. He �hired� Nook to be his attorney and help look over the paperwork with him as he tried to find who was behind everything. So far, they were able to catch some of the masterminds behind everything, but there were still the others floating around. Oil was glad to have Nook by his side in his time of need, not only was she there to help him clear up the logistics, but she was there to support him emotionally when he needed someone the most.

The door squeaked open and Oil heard footsteps approaching his desk.

"Back already?� He asked without looking up from the documents, �I thought it would�ve taken you much longer to---" Oil cut himself off as he looked up to the person standing in front of his desk�

"I�� Oil looked shocked as if he didn�t expect to see this untimely visitor, �Wh��

"What are you doing here?�

"I�m here to take you back darling!� Tanya smiled and ran up to Tao and started hugging him.

Tao was shocked to see her, especially in the state she was in. He was trying desperately to loosen her from him; but she kept holding on tight. Finally he was able to pull her off of him.

"Tanya, what are you doing here?� He asked again and moved a little bit away from her.

"Like I said, I�m here to take you back!� She smiled a crooked smile and looked like she was going to pounce on him.

"Tanya listen, it�s been over between us since that one day you decided to change everything. And since then, I�ve never had any thought in my mind for us to get back together�besides, I��

"Tao!� Aum called out and waved to him. Her expression changed when she saw Tanya. Aum stopped abruptly and gave Tao a worried look. Tao mouthed, �It�s okay,� to Aum and tried to talk to Tanya.

Tanya glared at Aum and then directed her hatred towards Tao.

"It�s because of that B***H over there that you won�t love me again isn�t it!� She advanced towards him and started to hit him.

"Tanya calm down! You�re causing a scene! Stop it!� Tao tried to stop her but she was too angry, and apparently wasn�t listening to him.

"TANYA STOP!� Tao pulled her hands down, �Listen to me! We can never be a couple anymore! It doesn�t have to do with Aum�it�s because you don�t know what you want! Everything you do is for yourself, and you coming back to me is because Oil is no longer in your reaches! I�ve learned something Tanya, I�ve learned that the only person you truly love is YOURSELF!� Tao was going to continue but Tanya let out a horrid scream.

"NOOOO!!!� She pulled away from Tao and shook her head, �It�s not true! I love you Tao! Believe me! I can change!� She tried to come up to him but he stepped back.

"No Tanya, you couldn�t change even if you tried�you�ll still be the same cold hearted person you�ve always been�only doing things for others if it fits into your master plan.� Tao spoke the words coldly and walked passed her to where Aum was.

"If I can�t have you�� Tanya murmured as she pulled the gun out of her purse, �Then no one will!� She fired at Tao�s back and he collapsed into a pool of blood.

"Tao! No!� Aum ran up to him and tried to cradle him, �Tao�please!�

"Ha ha ha ha!� Tanya cackled and ran out of the building before anyone had a chance to catch her. She then drove off like a speed demon, almost causing a 3 car pile-up.

"Tao�please hold on!� Aum cried as she felt Tao�s heartbeat get slower, �Someone call an ambulance!�

"Please hold on! Please�not like this�� Aum sobbed as the entire office came to Tao�s side and his co-workers called for assistance.

"Dad?� Oil was shocked to see his father back so early.

"You look as if you�ve seen a ghost or something,� Mr. Suthikamol took a seat in front of his son and folded his arms, �How�s the business going for you over here?�

"Didn�t you know?� Oil asked as he sat down, �Someone�s been embezzling money from the company, now I have to clean up the mess. Luckily, I have a lovely wife helping me�or else I wouldn�t be able to make it.� Oil laughed.

"Speaking of Suthida, where is she?� Mr. Suthikamol looked around the office.

"She�s making me coffee�she should be back soon,� Oil answered, �Anyways dad, what brings you here?�

"Well, after Manee told me of the situation here, I came as soon as I could to see if my only son would be able to handle such a dilemma as this one. And from the looks of things, you seem to be doing well�so I decided��

"Yeah?� Oil asked, there was a strange tone in his father�s voice.

"I�m going to retire and have you be in charge of the company not only here, but overseas as well��

"But I��

"Now don�t cut me off just yet. I�ll explain. It seems you�ve been doing very good with your life, what settling down and everything. And now I�ve seen you mature so much that I am confident that you have the skills necessary to take care of all the branches in our corporation. Something, I wasn�t so sure a year ago, but now, with Suthida by your side, I know you can do this�besides�I am too old to be competing alongside new entrepreneurs in England and the United States�but you, you�re perfect.�

"Are you sure dad? I mean this is the same son that crashed the first time he ever tried to get his license? Remember?� Oil chuckled.

"How couldn�t I? Your mother was furious with me for letting you go out by yourself�but then again, after that you passed the test with flying colors no?� Mr. Suthikamol laughed.

"I�m confident that you can do this son, I believe you can�if I didn�t then I would never have asked you.� His tone changed to a serious one.

"Thanks for believing in me dad, I�ll think about it.� Oil

"Alrite son, but make sure you don�t lose that wonderful girl out there with your crazy antics�� Mr. Suthikamol got up and started towards the door but not before saying a last few words, �Make sure you hold onto what�s precious in life because it can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye�� Mr. Suthikamol was partly referring his late wife who had passed away in a car accident when he was in England�he had never even had a chance to say goodbye to her.

"Thanks dad�I�ll remember that,� Oil smiled and waved goodbye to his dad. �Dad�s right�Nook, I won�t let you slip by again�� he smiled and went back to his desk.

Just as he was about to reach his desk, someone pulled him and hugged him from behind.

"Nook�� Oil laughed and turned around to embrace her�only it wasn�t Nook�it was�

"Oil please don�t leave me again!� Tanya cried out as she clung onto him.

"Tanya?� Oil was surprised, he sure was getting a lot of unexpected visitors today, �What are you doing here?� He was trying to push her away, but she wouldn�t budge.

"I love you Oil! I�m sorry I let you go to that horrible girl Nook! But now I�m back�and we can live happily ever after!� Tanya hugged him closer.

"No�Tanya�let go�� Oil spoke to her harshly.

"Why�� She looked up at him and for the first time, he got a good look at her.

"Tanya what happened to you?� Oil was shocked at her scarred and bruised face, not to mention the bald spots on her head where she ripped her hair out.

"That girl Nook did this to me! It�s because of her my life is like this! You have to help me Oil, you have to divorce her and we can live together like we planned.�

Oil could tell from her voice that she had already lost her mind.

"Tanya, I think you should go home�it�s not right for you to be here�� Oil pulled her slowly away from him but she hugged him more and spun around.

"No, I can�t�if I leave you�then someone will come take you away again�you�re mine�not anyone else�s!� She giggled and refused to let go of him.

Oil really didn�t want this to happen. Tanya had set herself up for too many failures that she wasn�t able to handle it. On one hand, he wanted to fling her away from him; but on the other, he felt sorry for her for being incapable of loving anyone else besides herself.

"I want you to hold me like this forever�� Tanya smirked when she saw Nook through the small window in the door; suddenly, she pressed her lips onto Oil�s making it look as if he was coming onto her.

Nook stopped short when she saw the familiar face through the small opening. The coffee cup in her hands trembled as she watched the man she loved with her worst enemy.

"Please�� Nook whispered to herself, �Let go of her�Please�� She was hoping that if it was a misunderstanding on her part, anytime now�Oil would let go of Tanya and yell at her for trying to screw things up again�but he didn�t. As she watched the two, Oil made no attempt to let go of Tanya. She held her tears in and set down the coffee as she finally made her decision to walk out of the building�and his life�forever.
