Chapter 21 --- A New Proposal

Tik was sitting down because he got tired of dancing, but Kat was still dancing with Hugo, having fun. Benz knew Tik was looking at the couple; she wanted to make it worse by saying how cute they were together.

"Awwww Tik, aren�t they cute together. They both look like long lost lovers, reuniting with each other. Look at them Tik, so close together, hugging one another�they remind me of us, when we were a couple.�

"Benz, I told you this before, we are not a couple anymore. Also, Hugo and Kat can never be one, because Hugo is still married!� Tik did not take his eyes off of them. He was steaming up inside and wanted to break Hugo�s neck, but he couldn�t because he had to act cool in front of the news reporters and Kat was not his yet. So the only thing he could do was keep drinking.

Benz kept saying bad things about Kat in Tik�s ears the whole night and would not stop. Tik was annoyed by Benz but couldn�t stop listening to her.

Noi and Ken took a break from dancing and went outside the party for a walk. They were getting to know each other more and starting to have good conversation with one another.

As for Hugo and Kat, they were still dancing. But Kat wanted to stop for a break and wanted something to drink.

"Kat, I will be right back. I will get you something to drink,� Hugo excused himself.

Benz saw Hugo go for the drinks area, so she went to him so they could continue their plan.

Tik saw Kat standing by herself, so he went up to her.

"It seems like you are having fun, Kat, especially with the person you are dancing with,� he said as if he was jealous.

"Oh, yes, of course I am having fun. It is mainly because of Hugo. But it seems like you are having fun also, talking and drinking with Benz all night,� she said as if she were jealous also.

As Tik and Kat were talking, Benz and Hugo were picking out the drinks and mixing the drinks outside the party. There were too many people inside the party, so they snuck outside. Noi spotted the person who broke up Tik and Kat�s dance.

"Ken, look over there. They look suspicious, don�t you think?� questioned Noi.

"Let�s not assume things we don�t know yet, but let�s keep an eye on them to make sure first,� said Ken, agreeing with Noi�s assumption but not wanting to make a big scene.

Once Benz and Hugo put the mixture in Kat�s drink, they went back to the party and looked for both Tik and Kat.

Benz spotted them, so she went up to them and pulled Tik to the dance floor. He did not want to go, but Hugo was also there, talking sweet to Kat and giving her the drink. Tik did not want to see them together, so he went along with Benz.

"Kat, let�s go outside. It is hot in here, and the weather outside is great,� Hugo said convincingly.

Kat did not want to see Benz and Tik together, so she walked out with Hugo to get some fresh air outside.

Tik saw Kat walk out with Hugo and was about to follow them, but Benz was holding him back.

"Kat, drink up, it is good.� Hugo was making Kat finish her drink.

Kat finished with her drink and wanted seconds, because she wanted to forget Tik and didn�t want to see him and Benz. She was annoyed with them together, annoyed with herself and the way she was feeling. She gets mad when she sees them together and didn�t know why.

The way she felt for him the first time they met was different from the way she felt now. She didn�t know or understand why. The feelings she had for Hugo was different from Tik. She did not know why but wanted to forget her feelings by drinking as much as Tik drank.

As Hugo and Kat were walking around, Kat started to feel dizzy.

"Kat� Kat�are you Ok?� said Hugo, who knew what she was feeling, but still asked her anyways. He continued to question her. �Kat, we are close to my car. You want to rest and sit down first?� He was carrying her because she almost couldn�t walk.

Noi and Ken followed Hugo outside and saw him carry Kat to his car, so both of them ran to Hugo�s car to try and save Kat.

Noi was mad and was ready to kick Hugo�s ass, but Ken held her back.

"Noi, don�t mess up your pretty dress. You look so nice tonight; please don�t kick his ass with that dress on. Let me deal with it. You go look for Tik and some security guards. Make sure not to let this be a big scene, it will not look nice tomorrow!� Ken gave Noi orders and pecked her on the cheeks, so he could have the motivation to kick some ass.

Noi didn�t want to argue back, so she listened to him. Ken was surprise she did too.

As Noi went and looked for Tik, she told him Kat was in trouble. He rushed out of the party and went outside to look for Kat. Noi continued to look for some guards for help and did not follow Tik.

As for Ken, he was punching Hugo and beating the crap out of him.

"You are not a man; you are a pig you fool. I can�t believe you and your nasty tricks. How can you do this to Kat?� As Ken punched him left and right, he was shouting out random things.

Hugo was always a pretty boy. He didn�t know how to protect himself. He had been brought up and raised by other people and always had bodyguards to protect him.

Ken didn�t want to kill the guy. Once Hugo was on the ground, Ken carried Kat to his car, so she could rest there.

Kat didn�t know anything, she was out cold!

As Ken was laying Kat in the backseat of his car when he heard a voice.

"Ken, how could you? I knew you took advantage of cute girls, but why does it have to be Kat, and why like this? I thought we were friends,� asked Tik, sad with a nasty tone of voice.

"Tik, this is not how it looks. I was helping Kat from--" *Punch* Ken did not get to finish explaining.

Tik punched Ken on the cheeks because he was too burnt up to listen to Ken.

"Ken, you damn bastard! I can�t believe I trusted you,� Tik started to punch Ken left and right. Of course, Ken did not want to look like he got whooped, so he defended himself. Ken started block and hitting Tik back left and right.

"Tik, listen to me. I know you are drunk but calm yourself down!� Ken tried to stop Tik.

Kat heard the noise and started to wake up from her drowsiness. �What?? What is going on??�

As she opened her eyes, she saw Tik and Ken fighting. She got up and walked out of the car and started screaming at both of them. "Stop, stop. What are you guys doing?� With what little energy she had left, she tried her best to stop them.

"Kat, are you OK? Kat?� Noi was running towards Kat with some guards.

The guards broke up the fight between Tik and Ken and got Hugo up from the ground.

"Don�t touch me!� yelled Tik as he walked towards his car and drove off from the party.

"What�s going on? What happened?� Kat was weak and confused.

Noi and Ken dropped Kat off at home and told her to rest up, and they will explain everything to her later.

After Noi and Ken dropped Kat off, they went back to the party and handled some business. Noi and Ken thanked the guests that came to the party as they were leaving, and later they were questioning Hugo on the reason why he did it and who was in on it with him.

When Kat got home, all she did was lie down in bed. She didn�t remember anything; the only thing she remembered was going outside and having a drink with Hugo. The next thing she knew and saw was Ken and Tik fighting in front of her.

She was tired and still felt drowsy from the drinks. She couldn�t think right and didn�t want to think anymore for the night. She was ready to change and head to bed. Maybe she will remember things better in the morning.

As Kat was ready to shower and change her clothes, she heard someone knocking on the door.

Knock� Knock� Knock�

"Who is it?� said Kat curiously. She thought it might be Noi and Ken again checking to see how she was doing, so she cracked open the door a little to take a peek to see who it was. But no one was there in front of her door.

She opened the door wider, and stuck her head out to look left and right. She still saw no one, so she walked out and looked left and right again, but no one was around. She then walked back into her room and was ready to lock the door when Tik barged into her room.

"Kkhhuun�T..T..I..K�What are you doing here?� Kat asked, shocked.

Tik was drunk but still managed to drive to her place and barge in. "I came to see how you were doing. I see you had fun tonight, Kat. In the party, you were with Hugo, after the party you were with Ken. I see you want to have lots of guys around you.� Tik was walking towards her after having locked the door.

"What the hell are you talking about? I was dancing with Hugo because he asked me to dance with him. You seem to be having fun yourself; you were with Benz the whole night, remember!� Kat was slowly walking backwards as he started to get closer to her.

"Kat, you cannot get away from me! I told you this before; once I want something I will get it. And you are not making it any easier for me,� he said drunkenly.

"Stop right there! Don�t you dare come any closer to me! I will hit you so hard you will not wake up until tomorrow morning!� Kat threatened him.

"Ha Ha Ha� you are funny Kat. Usually, you would get away from me but tonight is too much. One guy to the next, why not have me in there too?�

"I don�t understand, what are you saying? I only danced with Hugo as a friend, that�s all. What do you mean one guy to the next?� Kat was confused.

"Don�t act so innocent, Kat. I see your plan. Just like I said before, you act so nice and innocent to get a higher price on you and your body,� Tik replied with arrogance.

"I don�t want to deal with you anymore. You can just leave now.� She was kicking him out of her place.

"What if I say NO! What will you do?� He grabbed her by the arms and continued. �What if I say you have to sleep with me tonight or else you will lose everything you got!� His drunkenness got him even more fired up as he thought about other guys and Kat together.

"What do you mean; I have to sleep with you? In your dreams! And let me go. You are drunk; I don�t think you know what you are saying.� Kat was trying to get loose from him but did not have the enough energy to do so.

"I do know what I am saying, Kat! I remember what I say and what I see. I see you with different guys, but I am paying you to be mine for the night! You should be happy!�

"Shut up, leave me alone. I HATE you. I thought you had changed from the person I first met to a different person. But no, you are still the same womanizer that I first knew, the one who likes to put people�s pride down.�

Tik said aggressively, �Because of you, Kat. You made me like this. You think you are so innocent. You can stop pretending now; stop faking with your pride. You are just like other girls.�

S�M�A�C�K�

Kat slapped him and looked at Tik with disgust. She couldn�t believe he was being so pathetic. She was ready to run away from him, but he grabbed her and made her fall on the ground. He then got on top of her so she couldn�t move or get away from him.

"Kat, listen to me. I don�t want to do this to you, but I guess I have to. Listen, your parents are both in debt right now and both of them are struggling to keep their jobs to pay off their debts. If you don�t believe me, ask them! I don�t know how they got in debt, but the portion was enormous,� Tik said softly.

"What� What the hell are you talking about?� Kat couldn�t believe what she was hearing. But it seemed to connect with her brother�s e-mail.

"I have a new proposal for you. Sleep with me and marry me� he said bluntly and demandingly.

"What the hell? What are you talking about??� Kat didn�t know what to say. She wasn�t shocked at the fact that he wanted to sleep with her, but she was shocked that he wanted to marry her.

"Think about it, Kat. Your parents or your pride�It�s up to you!� Tik now said it coldly.
