Furryknight is a homage to a special friend who has passed away and will be remembered. My favorite dog, (of many) was described as a blond wolf. A mutt to the core he loved to stand on the rock in my garden and look over the fence down the drive way to the road. He never missed a opportunity to escape and roam the neighborhood, always to return for dinner.

As the patriarch of the family he took the alpha position seriously and let the others know if they stepped out of line, or if we the two legged ones were getting on his nerves. It was joked that while the others if out of the yard would come if offered food, this one would not be caught until he was ready.

That is probably why he is my favorite. The Labs and other dogs are very over friendly, in my face and in my way. Furryknight was quiet and to the side. He let you come to him, not he to you
