Disclaimer: I don’t own Star Wars. Never did, never will. All I own are a few of the original characters in here and the planets Zoit and Zydirnon. The rest belongs to the almighty George Lucas, genius man that he is.

This story does not follow the New Order timeline (although thanks to Sho-chan, I am going to start reading those books despite how angry I am at the systematic killing of ALL my favorite characters...). It is set in a universe ruled by the Second Imperium, telling a tale of just what may have happened had the battle at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy taken a different turn. The story focuses on my original characters, as well as Jacen Solo, Anakin Solo, and Zekk, though primarily on my own characters as I'm not one to stick to guidelines.

Those who know me know almost exactly the sort of warnings I'll need to stick up here. Slash is present throughout the entire thing, though when there is actual slash content (nothing over PG-13, don't worry) I will place a little note beside that chapter. It's easy to recognize, and if you read it and are appalled by the content, don't come crying to me. You make the decision to read it, not me.

Parings include (both implied and flat out stated):

Zekk/Jacen (One-sided, mostly pining)
Brakiss/Zekk (Implied)
Jinks/Kurnok (Very much there)

This story does not focus around their relationships, though the relationships themselves do play a vital role as the story unfolds.

Chapter One - In which Ulysses Jinks makes his first appearance, a rogue knight with alliances to no one--and he likes it that way.
Chapter Two - In which we are introduced (formally) to Jinks' friend and companion, Freigo the Zoitian drake, and the code-breaking protocol droid D40.
Chapter Three - In which Zekk first appears, Dark Knight of the dreaded Sith lord Brakiss. Or is he?
Chapter Four - In which Jacen Solo temporarily takes center stage and betrays a little more of the plotline to the readers. Also in which the author attempts to cram as much angst as possible into one chapter without appearing like a total buffoon. Guess she failed. v.v;
Chapter Five - Jinks and Freigo pay a visit to the Wookie home planet of Kashyyk for a little ship repair. Despite himself, Jinks swallows his pride and pays a visit to an old lover, a Twi'lek by the name of Kurnok, and reveals to both Kurnok and us a deeper, more controversial side of himself. *SLASH*
Chapter Six - A conversation with Brakiss, along with a HoloNet discovery, sends Zekk into a state of rage. Going to the dueling arena, he comes across a very odd Hologram opponent, a Jedi by the name of Qui-Gon Jinn... aww hell. :3
Chapter Seven - After leaving Kashyyk, Jinks and Freigo meet up with an old friend, despite the morose circumstances.
Chapter Eight - (Short chapter, sorry ><) Depressed, confused, and angry with himself, Kurnok's brooding is interrupted as a young man turns up in his shop. *bum bumb bum* *SLASH* (A little bit, anyway. Just angsty stuff. Hehe.)
Chapter Nine - At a formal dinner with diplomatic officials from across the galaxy, Zekk comes face to face with the reticent prime minister of Denton, a man named Kehrik Tan. However, Kehrik isn't all he appears to be... and evidently neither is Zekk.
Chapter Ten - Near death in his prison cell, Jacen is just about ready to relinquish his soul to the Great Beyond when the enigmatic Kehrik Tan pays him a visit. (I.E. In which Jacen finally gets a bath.)
Chapter Eleven - Anakin suffers after finding out knowledge concerning his mother, and Kurnok makes a rather unsettling discovery...
Chapter Twelve - Skipping forward in time four months, Jinks and company are being held prisoner by none other than the Sith lord Brakiss and his apprentice. Jinks reminisces on time better spent, and also spits on a pair of expensive leather boots.
Chapter Thirteen - In which Jinks finds out that spitting on leather boots can bring about painful results. >< Also in which Zekk finally stands up to his master, and discovers what Jaina was trying to show him all along. *SLASH* and *VIOLENCE*
