Official Rules

Out-of-Character Rules

--Be polite and fair to everyone, regardless of their status. FSEA does not encourage elitism.
--It is never permissable to argue over show results. If you feel an event was judged unfairly, you may go about submitting a report in the proper manner.
--Likewise, bribing or harassing judges is never allowed. Doing so will result in a ban, either temporary or lifetime, from FSEA.
--Don't be a poor sport. If your character does poorly in an event, don't always blame it on illness. You can't win all the time.
--If you announce that your character has an illness or injury, you must refrain from showing for at least one month. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

Illegal Drugs & Medications

--Any stimulant, depressant, tranquilizer, local anesthetic, psychotropic (mood and/or behavior altering) substance, or drug which might affect the performance of a horse and/or pony. (Stimulants and/or depressants are defined as substances which stimulate or depress the cardiovascular, respiratory or central nervous systems.) Nor any metabolite and/or analogue of any such substance or drug.
--Any corticosteroid other than dexamethasone.
--Any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug in excess of two; exception: salicylic acid.
--Any substance in excess of the maximum limit or other restrictions listed here.
--Any substance, regardless of how harmless or innocuous it might be, which might interfere with the detection of any of the substances defined this rule.
--Any anabolic steroid in the breeding/in-hand classes for three-year-olds and under in the Arabian, Half Arabian, and Anglo Arabian Division.
--The full use of modern therapeutic measures for the improvement and protection of the health of the horse and/or pony is permitted unless: (1.) The substance administered is a stimulant, depressant, tranquilizer, local anesthetic, drug or drug metabolite which might affect the performance of a horse and/or pony or might interfere with the detection of forbidden substances or quantification of permitted substances; or (2.) More than two nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are present; exception: salicylic acid; or (3.) The presence of such substance exceeds the maximum limit or other restrictions listed here.
