Konichiwa there westerners! My name is Funki Chi Monkitaro, and being ill (your regular flu) hasn't stopped me from going to my first ever sushi experience!!
Yup! That's right! On sunday, me, my big brother and some friends wisked ourselves off all the way down to central london early in the morning! |

I wasn't sure for the others, but it was my first time having sushi and I wasn't as flaming hot as I first expected! >phew!< There were some chinese food (which I was happy to see) which was posibily the only cooked food in the sushi bar! (Gili Gilu-on the corner of a street somewhere-can't remember too well) Most of the dishes on the Buffet were raw fish on rice type things (look at the picture above), but there was the occasional SQUID-and don't get me started on the squid, causr it was nast-ay!!!! Me and my mate had one each-and neither of us could stomach it!! lol
In the end, after the 80+ dishes that we downed thougher (hey!-it was all you can eat!), we were off again to goggle at Urah kai (still don't know how to spell it) weapons in big toyshops, eye up real weapons at martial arts stores and play some games of pool (or rather, lose lots of games at pool) before we finally turned in for the day-not bad for a saturday otherwise spent at home! And better yet, I didn't have to pay a dime! ($ . $ ,) >ka-ching!< |
