| Chapter 4 |
| I looked across the street and saw a huge neon sign that read: *Starz* We walked across the street and to the front of the line where nearly two hundred people waited hopefully to get inside. We flashed the bouncer our VIP passes and he opened the velvet rope for us to pass. When we got inside the club there was a huge lit dance floor, a dj, a huge round bar and tons of people everywhere. I looked around in awe. I had been to an assortment of clubs and had never seen anything like this. I turned nd grabbed Christian by the hand pulling him toward the dance floor. We danced for almost 3 hours. "Hey this place is getting pretty crowded, wanna get out of here?" He shouted over the music. I nodded my head and we made our way off the crowded dance floor. We walked out the entrance of the club where a huge line still stood. "What time is it?" I asked him. "1:30." He answered back yawning. We walked together back to my apartment where he dropped me off and headed back to his place. Not even five minutes after Christian left there was a knock at my door. I flung open the front door. "Christian, what are you doing here?" I asked grogily. "I know what those other guys have put you through, but I hope you trust me enough now so you'll believe it when I say I would never do that." He said pulling another yellow rose out from behind his back and handing it to me. I looked a it and found another small note attached to it's stem. I opened up the note: Will you give me a chance now? Love, Christian. I just stared at the note for what seemed like hours. When I finally looked up, the only thing I could do was hug him. *** *** *** *** Two months went by and the boys of BBMak's demo was completed. Shortly after my dad took the demo to Mr. Shmauchel, he was back again. "Hey, guys sorry to interrupt but the the 'head-honcho' of the company just listened to the three songs you have finished recording." My dad said. "And...?" I asked sarcastically. "He liked them, but you have more writing to do. He liked your material, but he doesn't think any of those were good enough to be your debut single. So you need to write, if those don't work we will bring in writer's. I will contact you guys in a few days." My father said making his usual exit. *** *** *** *** I got up off the leather chair and plopped myself down next to Christian. "I guess that means it's actually going to happen. We are gonna have an album of our own!" Ste said grinning ear-to-ear. The three of them headed towards the door leaving to 'celebrate.' I watched them leave when suddenly the door swung open again. Christian came running back in and over to me. "Would you like to come over tonight and watch a movie or something? I don't feel much like going out. He asked. I nodded my head and he gave me a quick kiss and exited again, running to try and catch up. |
