Our support group is an affiliate of the International MOMS Club, which has over 2,000 chapters with 100,000 members in seven countries. We are the only international group specified for at-home mothers, and we would like you to be a member too! Our club is a small but expanding chapter founded in May of 2006. We cover the areas of Fulton County and the city of Amsterdam, NY.
Our purpose is to provide support, activities, fellowship and fun for at-home mothers and their children. Most of our events are held during the day and include activities such as play dates, field trips, craft days, and various service projects within the community. Children are welcome at all of these activities.
In addition to the social events, we also focus on issues and activities that will help us to grow as moms and women. We publish a monthly newsletter filled with chapter news and the coming month's planned activities. We also send out a weekly e-mail update with details on upcoming events and other recent news. We have a monthly business meeting with discussions and the opportunity to give your input about upcoming events and projects. Most importantly, we offer you a chance to connect with other moms! There is so much we have to offer moms in Fulton County and Amsterdam, NY.
Our club is operated by a board of volunteer members. Board elections are held each year in June. If you are interested in a board position, please contact us. There are many things that you can help out with.
