A picture of the house.."before"..before the new landscaping and the new paint.
Pay attention to the white trim..around those front windows. I did NOT like the looks of these windows..because of that THIN white trim around them. They always looked "unfinished" to me..

Decisions..decisions..on the paint color..with this small area painted and compared to the brick.

and..I'm putting a pic..of the final look..here so you can see the the difference the shutters made..

Hours later..and..we stayed with the Bavarian Creme..by Glidden. Here it is..and we still have a bit of touch up painting in small areas..but after magaritas..and fuzzy navels...it was time to shut down.

May 3rd, 2001...the work continues again on the exterior. We went today and bought the shutters. We removed the molding from the two porch windows and replaced them with these cranberry colored shutters purchased at Home Depot @29.95 per pair. Two more sets were purchased and will replace the green shutters that were on the brick portion of the house.
