Landscaping..the afternoon

Ok..here we are..totally worn out..but we finished this job in 2 days..except for replacing the shutters on that one window. That shutter was damaged by the plant roots that were by that window. The roots were creeping under the shutter and up the side of the house..which is another reason we decided to re landscape the front! We removed all the ground cover, dug up all the old bushes and plants..before we could start the new job. We will be adding a few dwarf indian hawthornes and some other year round greenery. The plants are Hibiscus, hydrangeas, portalucas and some zinnias; two truckloads of topsoil hauled, unloaded and spread. The blocks for the border and lots of labor.

Whew...what a day!!
