The microwave..on the counter..is to be picked up by a friend...for her son..
The walls in here..are paneled..which were painted over ..one of the first things I did 11 yrs ago when we bought this house.
I want to change out the counter top...and redo the walls...and hang some pretty curtains on the window by the appliances.
I DO NOT want to paint those cupboards..but want to go with a warm color on the walls to enhance the wood of the cupboards.
I just can't seem to come up with a "theme"..
If you had this room..what would be your theme? My adjoing kitchen is yellow/plum accents..style of kitchen is mixed english country/french country.
As you walk in the door..and look to your left.

and..standing by the washer/dryer/freezer and looking toward the entrance.
May 4, 2001...I found some border..which is shown here..stapled to the wall to get the "effect" of what it will look like if I decide to use it. This border cost a whole two dollars per roll..compliments of THE DOLLAR STORE here. At that price I won't feel bad if I decide to change the look of this room in a few years..or..even IF I decide NOT to use it! The walls will either be a soft yellow or a soft green. I'm still trying to decide what I want to do with this room.
