Tidus is a cheerful young man, a Blitzball star player from the Zanarkand Abes. He inherited his father's ability who was also a famous Blitzball player who disappeared when Tidus was a child. His fast movement make him could attack quicker than his enemies.

Tidus In Battle

Use him in every battle. He can defeat Swift, a for legs creature easily. If his ability rise up, he can defeat flying enemies with only one slash.

Tidus On Sphere Grid

When he grew from the start point, he can learn a lot magic like Haste and Slow. The profit in using Tidus is he can increase party's turn frequency and decrease enemy's ability with Hastega, Slowga, Delay Buster and Quick Attack.
If his abilities on the Sphere Grid have been comleted, he could teach Yuna how tou use Curaga, Dispel and Reflect. Yet, with low healing skill he's weak on healing magic.

Overdrive: Swordplay

Tidus can launch deadly sword attack to one or even all enemies through his overdrive. After you choose an overdrive technique, watch the measure and press X button if the cursor is on the middle line. Tidus overdrive power depends on how much time left. As more time he use overdrive, more technique he'll learn.
