(Welcome to the website of the USS STONEHENGE)
We are a Legend Class Starship whose mission statement
is to go and explore. For that we have a fully
equipped Scientific Department with all the latest
developments and designs straight from Starfleet.
Our Engineering and Medical Departments are also
equipped with the latest technologies.
In fact the USS STONEHENGE is on the forefront of expanding
Engineering, Medical and Scientific knowledge
throughout known and unknown space and dimensions.
If this has piqued your interest feel free to read on,
just remember that the following information is
classified. And we will come and find you if you
divulge our secrets to anyone.
Hidden away is our classified department. Here in the
heart of our new ship are experiments and designs
being tested to their very limits.
Indeed included in this department is the secret that
gives the USS STONEHENGE it's edge.
For we have the one and only dimensional drive in
Starfleet. With this we push back the boundaries of
knowledge, by going outside of our own known dimension
to explore the other dimensions that lie alongside our
own.
Our mission parameters here are to forge new alliances
and friendships, to learn about new races and their
cultures that hitherto could only be guessed or indeed
dreamed about.
Here the friendships that bind the crew of the USS STONEHENGE
become even more important, for out here amongst the
unknown we are indeed on our own. There is no back
up, no where to run to, we are it and because we live
so closely together, we become almost like a family.
For there are races and aliens out here amongst these
new, strange and exciting stars who look to our own
dimension with greedy eyes. Some have themselves even
managed to break the dimensional barriers and it is
these that we search for amongst these new dimensions.
Not necessarily to ward them off, but at least we
will be able to warn Starfleet of where the threat
could come from.
