After having a disturbing dream again and again, she found some relief when, occasionally, a certain young man would appear in the vision and manage to keep her safe. Soon after the dreams stopped, she met this boy in person, who introduced himself as Zain and helped identify Sasha as a fellow member of the Chosen Eight.
Throughout a fair amount of the journey's beginnings, Sasha would manage to strike down few opponents, which, along with the psychological effects of her visions, would eventually lead her to doubt her own worth, and gradually bring about a deep depression. However, when push comes to shove, this problem is held at bay by a number of resources, including her bond with Zain, as well as determination and even power that possibly rivals his.
As the journey progresses, she grows ever closer to Zain and the rest of her companions.
