Tale of the four sacred emblems

Twas a long time ere that the Emblems of Earth have been forged, and even to this day the artifacts are commonly seeked by the ambitious and power hungry. Nevertheless, this story is not of the legend of the items, but of a certain group of reluctant people who seek it, and the misfortunes they encounter as well as do onto one another.

Thus, these five are forced into the misfortune...

Abbot of Camelot

Abbot was once one of the noble guards of the peaceful, but isolationist town of Camelot. Revered and loved by all his men under him, he lived a happy life. That was until the day that a common thief had robbed the town. Unable to find the thieves, Abbot was scapegoated, and was exhiled on a Pilgramage of Redemption.

Leon Sepharro

Quirky, selfish, and at times even malicious, Leon is not a person one would want to rely on. Unfortunately, Abbot has found himself venturing along side this strange outsider his king has found for him, despite the fact that Abbot would be better off without the new troubles his teammate brings. He himself searches for the Emblems of Earth for reasons he dares not speak of, and unfortunately, all shall soon find out why.

Priestess Agies

This smart mouthed and seductive young woman may at first seem an unlikely messenger of the holy side, however, she is a reliable and helpful follower, and is more than willing to help those in their time of need. Upon hearing of Abbot's journey after healing him of fatal wounds, she immediately volunteers her aid to his cause, wanting to see to it that the deadly artifacts do not fall in the wrong hands. Not that she doesn't resort to less than honerable methods of doing this.

Asho the High Priest

Another holy figure, far more honest and at times naive than the younger Agies he has as his assistant, it hard to understand how such a seemingly innocent person could in fact be among the most dangerous and feared hunter of evil spirits in all known land. In fact, his reputation is so dreaded that any mention of his name around them will lead them to a quick anger and fear. One has to wonder though, how then does Leon get away with playing annoying pranks on him with all but a mere jolly laugh?

May Tomoe

One day on their travel, Abbot and Leon hear of a mysterious vagabond figure cloaked in scarlet red robes that has previously brought fear into the hearts of the surrounding villages. Many believe it to be a scornful soul of a hateful soul of a deceased wife who hunted the town's men for mere pleasure. Righteously angered when he heard of this, Abbot took it upon himself to find and ultimately stop this person. The results weren't exactly what he was hoping for, and resulted in his life becoming either much better or much worse.

...Of course, many others seek these powers as well.

The Three Wise Kings

Upon the first days of his Pilgrimage of Redemption, Leon speaks to Abbot of three wise men who have promise great wealth and power to anyone who gives them the three Emblems Of Earth. At first glance as one meets them, they are odd and almost comical old men who are difficult to take seriously. However, it is obvious to a more observant eye that these men have motives more far-reaching and dangerous than many realise.

The Reich Pirates

The single most detested and feared of all crime groups in the Persing Contenent, the Reich Pirates are a crew of ruthless savages that has developed a military might so powerful they have even been able to take over entire city-states, and now only the sheltered plains of the inner lands are safe, and only Persing City with its military might can defend themselves from total oblivion. Of course, such a thing is not enough for the ambitious captains, thus they have began to search as well for the legendary Emblems. As is to be expected, they may get in Abbot's way in his Pilgrimage of Redemption.
