about Community Groups

"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ."

1 John 1:3 (NIV)

Community Group focus

A Community Group is a weekly gathering of fellowship and fun with a "family" of believers.  The main focus of all of the Community Groups is to share the fellowship that God the Father has shown through His Son Jesus Christ in a simple tangible manner, through fellowship with one another.

Fellowship involves getting to know God and one another as we "encourage one another and build each other up" as a community of believers.

(1 Thessalonians 5:11)

The Community Groups are a part of the Edification Ministry of the Pathway Bible Church.

Community Group benefits

Community Groups provide an open and genuine environment to casually discuss what's going on in our lives and relate to one another as Christians.

Belonging to a Community Group also provides us an opportunity to get to know one another as individuals, much more than we could over a donut and coffee after Sunday Service.  With this, we can pray for one another on an individual basis with genuine prayer requests.

Choosing the right Community Group

Each Community Group has its own relatively unique style, yet all of them provide warm and genuine environments.  As a newcomer to our church it might be a good idea to try attending a few different Community Group gatherings at first and see which one you best fit into.

Attendance is open to both believers and to any of our non-believer friends who are interested to learn more about Christ through genuine Christians.
