First, this is a comment about the website in general, not any particular individual. I consider myself a pagan, so my spirituality is attacked and misunderstood by both monotheists and atheists. I'm kind of disappointed here. I thought that atheists were supposed to be open-minded, but this kind of "atheism" is just as close-minded and in olerant as some religious sects. It's one thing to criticize religions, but this site merely degrades and insults those who happen to have spiritual beliefs. All beliefs are equally valid; people have the right to practice whatever they want. When someone attacks your atheism, take the high ground and ignore them. It's all fine and well to sit in your ivory tower and pat yourself on the back for being "open-minded," but eventually you have to learn to live with people who are different from you.

Rashy, I'm not proving the information in that link is false, rather I'm explaining, as Sadiqi already has, why that information is not worth anything with regard to proof. It is a fallacy to claim that Islam is true because some smart mind claims such. Argumentum ad verecundiam; look it up. Why don't you cite some scientific journals rather than some pow-wow for the Tribals in Saudi Arabia. As for the comments about your obvious deep inferiority complex vis a vis the dominant Western culture, that was mer ly an observation.

The information in your link is not "proved wrong" by speculating why a person with above average intelligence as yourself would be drawn to such driveling idiocy. Some of the most outstanding writers (Burgess) create new words when needed, and don't wait to inherent past lexicons. If Allah were to get off his holy kazoo, it wouldn't be too difficult to create a synonym for sabt that doesn't have the connotations o a napping Allah. If Monday is day Yawm 1, and the following days are Yawm 1 +n, then Arabic provides a ready made device for indicating the day of the week, even Saturn's day.

Back to linguistics, the Quran was revealed in Arabic, and Arabic, like any other language, has many words from different sources. There are also Persian words, and words from other ancient languages like Hebrew and Aramaic. It's only stupid on your part if you know that Arabs have no other name for "Saturday" than "al-sabt", and you expect the Quran, which is in Arabic, to call "Saturday" something else. Mentality!

Once again we see how insecure Rashwood is. He is desperately trying to convince a couple of Westerners that a few of their ilk have paid lip service to his desert mythology. The reality is that Rashwood is himself a victim of the Islamic inferiority comp ex. He needs Western voices to convince himself that Islam is actually worth something. First of all, notice that no verses from the Qur'an are ever cited on this miraculous page that he keeps giving the link for. It is essentially the fallacious argument from authority (see argumentum ad verecundiam). We are supposed to now believe that there is some truth to Islam because a few scientists praised a seventh century tribal manuscript w ile within Tribal borders. Rashwood offers no evidence to support the numerous fantastic claims found in his mythology; rather he only gives us a few glimpses of some other Westerners who may or may not have converted. Basically, Rashwood is trying to tel us that Keith Moore (allegedly) believes in the Qur'an, therefore the Qur'an is the word of God. Maybe I should convert to Judaism because Rabbi Dovid Brown (also a respected Chemistry professor from Yeshiva University) assures us that the Torah is from aShem; or maybe, based on Rashwood's logic, I should embrace Hinduism (I sort of already have), because Dr. N.S. Rajaram (a real live rocket scientist!) has stated that the Mahabharata is 100% true, and directly from Divinity. In Rashwood's simple mind, a few Westerners praising Islam automatically means Islam is true (and I'm sure Rashwood will want to remind us that there was a Thai and a Japanese scientist on the panel too).

Moving on, as I said back on October 6th, Rashwood's writings can be seen on John Matney's Guestbook. It is there that he complained that I was too abusive towards him. He used this excuse t squirm out of having to present proof for his wild claims. However, it was on that guestbook that he started off by calling Sadiqi "the lost Jew" (simply because Sadiqi didn't believe the bullspit Rashy accepts on blind faith), and he has since come on h re calling us sharmootatan, et cetera. He has also acted rather irrationally, and showed an even greater sophomoric nature than my own. Since Rashwood has been duly abusive before and after suffering a bruised deen from my words, I'd say we are now relatively even. That being said, maybe Rashwood would like to start presenting some evidence. If he wants us to believe that his provincial sky monkey exists, maybe he should present some evidence.

Oh, and Rashwood, thank you for posting the picture of that Donkey. Yes indeed, it is a very beautiful animal. Is that animal ignorant? I don't see how that is the case. Does Rashwood assume it is ignorant because it does not prostrate five times a day to ard some silly cube in the desert?

Finally, I have one question for Rashwood the crypto-Jew. Last Oct 6th, he accused me of pretending to be a master of the Arabic language (something I never claimed). Now, I have a question for Rashwood, which I asked before, but got no answer. It has alo to do with Rashwood, the lost Jew, and his Arabo-Judaic goat-herder mythology. The Jews assure us that on the seventh day, God rested. The Sunni Crypto-Jews assure us that God never rests (not even on the day following the alleged six days of creation. T is is an apparent contradiction among the Monotheists. Anyway, for the Jews, the seventh day of the week is called "Shabat." In Arabic it is called "Sabt." Now I have a question for Rashwood with regards to al-Sabt. Why is it that the Qur'an says the Yaho dis were punished for breaking the sabbath (al-Sabt)? What was the significance of this day? Furthermore, why is the seventh day called "sabt" in the first place? Isn't SBT the root, as in Hebrew, for the verb to rest? Doesn't this verb appear in surah al Furqan 25:47 and surah an-Naba' 78:9? Please, oh wise crypto-Jew, explain why the seventh day is called Sabt. Is this yet another thing you absorbed from the Jewish goat-herder mythology? While you're at ti, also explain the root of "Jahannam," which I as ed for before. Is this something you took from the Jewish mythology also (i.e. Gehinnom)?

It was an interesting guest book. Half-knowledge as they say can be as bad as ignorance. This guestbook is a classic case of it. Analysing hinduism is useless without analysing religion. analysing religion without looking at shifting cultures and lifestyl s is a wasteful exercise. Let me attempt to do a short work on it. I doubt whether i would be meaningful here, however, i will try to convey the spirit. What do we see today all round us? Lifestyles changing, cultures changing, people changing, attitudes changing, in fact, virtualy everything changing. why is that happening? It is not because of any influence of semitic thought, but it is because of s ience. science is the new high-prirst of our religion called humanity. He has come here to stay. He is not bothered by the likes of hindus, muslims or zionists. he is not really bothered whethetr hindus are killing muslims or vice versa. He has come here o chaznge us. and he will do so even withour our knowing it and in our lifetimes and even withour our realising it. Let us see, how many of our beliefs have been changed, moulded or refashioned or "adapted" over the past few years. we have been forced to o so. because His word is infallible. He is right and will continue to remain so. Al your ravings and rantings are to no purpose. I suggest you change your direction to adapt to the new world and emerging scenario. My opnion is that in another twenty years there wont be anything called a religion. here will be only a utter belief in science and our abilities. It woud have repolaced God. and lifestyle wouldhave replacde culture. So I suggest that you guys, embrace the plank of new-age lifestyle rather than "ancient culture" and "Scientific thought" rather than "santana dharma" lest all your well-meaning efforts go waste. In end, I appreciate your efforts at "saving the hindu religion mainly because I think like the ancient dinosaur's bones and the egyptian mummies,it also needs to survive because it serves as posterity for the generations to come. For those who are baffled by the previous post, I'd like to introduce you all to Rashwood, the silly Muslim fundamentalist that has been posting to John Matney's guestbook since last July [f r more on John Matney's page, see the article on Those Hilarious Zionists]. If you peek through that guestbook, you'll see that Rashwood's first post (at least the first post he used the pseudonym "Rashwood") was a direct attack on Sadiqi az-Zindiki. Like the true Islamic imbecile that he is, Rashwood used the same tired old tactic of claiming Sadiqi was a Jew (for those who don't know, the way to win a debate in Islam is to call your opponant "Yahood"). His exact quote was "To Al Zindikki, the Lost Jew, I know what the word "zindiki" means, and it quite fits you." We're so glad to know that this Muslim is smart enough to understand the meaning of Sadiqi's nomme de web. I always found it funny that he thinks he has exposed some sort of hidden fact ("ah-ha! You admit to being a zindiki!").

Now he's here calling Sadiqi and myself "sharmootatan." He's basically saying we are the Dajjal's hoes. Regardless, he gives a link to the Sharmoota Surah that was originally at ilhad.8m.com, which he is so hurt by, now seeing that the kaafireen ca indeed "create a surah like it." If you visit John Matney's aforementioned guestbook, you'll see where all of this is coming from. Regardless, let's quickly get to Rashwood's ranting...

As has already been explained to him, this kind of madness was already summed up in the three words of a phrase coined by Sadiqi: Miracle of Reinterpretation. It has a ready been explained that the same game has been done with Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, and Daoism. Rashwood was already answered in the following way:

Such claims could be made about any ancient religious text, since religious scripture by its nature has to use metaphors and parables, which must be somewhat ambiguous and therefore susceptible to being twisted by weak and insecure minds into this or that theory: evolution, the big bang, quantum mechanics, etc. It is quite telling that in EVERY SINGLE INSTANCE these scientific theories were read into the Qur'an only AFTER they were proposed in modern times! And if these passages do have this character of vagueness and ambiguity, how on earth can yo claim that they talk about scientific concepts, which require precise and unambiguous language? None of the alleged "scient fic" verses in the Qur'an meet this criterion.

Finally, two quick notes... Rashwood says I am Sadiqi's boss. Just to help Rashwood with the chain of command here at FTMecca, which is explained in different parts of the page, I'll give a quick run down. The global conspiracy is organized by Sadiqi, who is essentially the ring leader. Sadiqi has to answer to the Elders of Zion. Though they Elders of Zion worship Uzayr, they actually answer to ad-Dajjal (who is out messenger that reveals all the surahs of the PC Qur'an), and the Dajjal answers to Shaytan. Rashwood should learn the chain of command next time. Finally, Rashwood is upset with the whole "Allahu Akbar" thing, because in Hebrew, phonetically, "hu akbar" means "he is a mouse." Rashwood wants to split hairs of Arabic, and what "allahu akbar" reall means. We're not interested. As been said numerous times before, Islam is ridiculous, hence we ridicule it.

Zindiqi the Sharmoota, I used to call your boss Giron so, but it seems may share the name with him. You'll be "sharmootatan". I always feel it's fun when I see both of you outrageous about nothing.

Giron used to lose his temper and get stunned shouting with capital letters when I post him This is the link. I hope you won't be as silly, and tell me why does the link has this kind of effect on him.

Another point  is that it's good for someone to show that he masters so many languages, but one makes fool of himself if he show off his poor liguistic knowledge in front of native speakers! This is a lesson that Giron could not grasp. But anyway it's good to have something liguistically funny from time to time. I like it very much! :-)
