UCG is a financial services company, arranging irrevocable documentary letters of credit, Stand-by letter of credit, bank guarantees, revolving letters of credit, and even loans. Major banks handle all UCG’ financial instruments.  

If you are an individual, company or government agent involved in international business transactions, we can service you. UCG understands the importance of fast services.  Our L/C is issued generally within 7 banking days.  We have one of the lowest retainer fee and reasonable L/C opening charges.

UCG is also confident in its services, that is why our clients have the choice to pay the opening charges within 10 banking days after the L/C is issued and accepted by the supplier or beneficiary's bank.  UCG can even wait to cash the opening charges until the BILL OF LADING is issued to you. 

As said above the client doesn’t have to pay the opening charges up front.  That means we arrange the LC first and you pay the opening charges later after you receive the BILL OF LADING from your supplier.  This is to show how confident we are in our services.

UCG can arrange your LC regardless your credit history and balance sheet.  We look at your ability to complete the transaction successfully. 

If you are new importer, UCG cannot only arrange your L/C, but also can assist you throughout the transaction.  Indeed UCG will send an Agent into your country to assist you with opening an escrow account to collect funds pre-paid by your end-buyers. UCG’ Agent will also work with you to set up a bonded warehouse before the goods arrived in the country.
