LETTER OF CREDIT OPENING CHARGES’
LIST
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE OPENING CHARGES LIST FOR THE
IRREVOCABLE LETTER OF CREDIT. A. At sight L/C for a 30-day validity period, cost of
the L/C is 5% of the face value. B. At sight L/C for a 60-day validity period, cost of
the L/C is 5.5% of the face value C. At sight L/C for a 90 days validity
period, cost of the L/C is 7% of the face value D. At sight L/C for a 120-day validity period, cost
of the L/C is 7 % of the face value. E. At sight L/C for a 150-day validity period, cost
of the L/C is 7,5% of the face value. F. At sight L/C for a 180-day validity
period, cost of the L/C is 8% of the face value. For the payment of the above L/C opening charges,
UCG will accept one of the following forms of payment: bank guarantee OR
irrevocable L/C. There is NO UP FRONT opening charges. UCG accepts Opening Charges payment after the bill
of lading is received from the supplier. For lower L/C Opening Charges, please contact our
