StarFinder User's Guide
StarFinder is a free program that creates a whole sky map of the stars,
planets and Moon designed for the beginning star gazer.
Features include:
- Easy to download (less than 300Kb zipped); simple install, use, and remove.
- Creates whole sky maps for your observing date, time and latitude.
- Emulates dark sky (lots of stars) to bright sky (few stars)
observing conditions.
- Identifies objects (planets, stars, constellations) by position on the map.
- Helps you find constellations by name.
- Prints maps
- Saves maps as Enhanced Windows Metafiles (.emf).
System requirements:
- Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000.
- Software that can open .zip compressed archive files.
- About 2Mb of available hard disk space.
