I have always been a supporter of those in our Military. I feel our Country lacks in giving them the respect they more than deserve. On this page is a tribute to my father (1st Division Marine, WWII - South Pacific), several quotes regarding various military branches, and more! ~~Thanks for visiting! Pamela

I have to boast! My Dad was a 1st Division Marine in WWII. He fought in the Solomon Islands, Guadal Canal, and all over the South Pacific. He joined the war at the age of 16 and I am extremely blessed to still have him in my life. He married my mom when I was a teen. My biological father died when I was 12, which was a blessing in disguise. I was abused in many ways by the hands of that person and it resulted in my growing up with a great deal of anger. I mention this because I find it amusing that it took one of the most feared men of WWII, to show a bratty teen that not all men are so bad. I thank God for sparing him and bringing him into my life. I love you muchly, Daddy!

It has been a couple of very rough years for me and because of that, this site has been put on the backburner. Don't get me wrong, I am still as patriotic as ever but coming to this site has been painful. My Hero, my dad, passed away on July 16, 2005. He meant everything to me. Words can't explain how well we both got along. I miss him terribly and reminders of him make me break down and cry. He was the first ever to treat me with respect in my life and he came along when I was in my early teens. I had suffered much abuse by many before that time. But this Marine veteran came into my world and taught me that not everyone was so bad. I miss you dad, I love you muchly and you are forever in my heart! I am always thinking of you and have your photo right next to my pc so that I can see you and be with you daily. Pamela
