History and Motivation

The Freedom and Empowerment Studies Yahoo! group was started because I was asked to leave another list as a consequence of my off-topic postings, which were tolerated until one of the group owners began to perceive that they were contrary (or at least irrelevant) to the purpose and spirit of the group. Although at the time I disagreed with that perception, I am pleased to respect others' views and so decided to form my own group to discuss topics and to enable members to share their personal views related to Freedom and Empowerment.

It is to be hoped that people evolve over time, and I certainly have done so. Throughout my life, I have sought the best available information on how to cope with life in this manifestly often "crazy" reality, a.k.a. "the human condition."

The current picture is a portion of a recent Nasa photograph that shows what appears to be an "improbably gigantic" UFO positioned near the Sun and interacting with it. A similar mysterious object may be seen at the top of another photograph of the Sun taken a year earlier.

Closing Thought

To become free and empowered it is essential to learn to distinguish truth from lies and genuine and germane information from disinformation and distraction, and to practice such discrimination on an ongoing basis.
