Teams had to find the clue box on a bridge over one of Amsterdam's canals.

Detour

Hoist It. Teams had to hoist 5 items to upper story window of residence. One person had to tie the knots and pull on a rope to lift the items to the partner waiting in the window to bring the item inside. The person upstairs had a mover ready to assist in getting the item through the window.

Hunt It. Teams had go a few blocks to a parking lot with thousands of bikes to find 2 bikes labeled with a color code matching the picture in their clue.

Roadblock: Ditch Vaulting

One team member had to cross a ditch as Dutch farmers have for centuries, using a pole planted in the center. They had to reach the grass on the other side to count as a good jump. After finding their next clue, they could return in any manner.

Kate and Pat	Kate	Got muddy in the ditch, but arrived too late to make any difference.

Local bikes sometimes have a large basket big enough to carry a passenger, called bakfiets. Teams struggled to keep the member in the basket, and a couple of them missed the drop off sign, blue on a white background. Worst affected was TK as he missed the sign and lost two places.

Outlook for Episode Three

The nine remaining teams have diverse backgrounds: a black team, an Asian team, and a Latino team. This time, one focus was on family ties with a brother/sister team, a grandson and grandfather, two sisters, and a father and daughter.

This episode started with a strong start for some teams, and a scrambling of order for others. The hippies, TK and Rachel, the brother/sister team of Azaria and Hendekea, and the dating Goths, Kynt and Vyxsin, that appeared to be strong teams in the first episode all slipped at least two positions The bottom teams of Ron and Christina,, Marianna and Julia, and Jen and Nathan could be in some trouble, except that Marianna and Julia. Ronald and Christina have a lot to work through in their relationship, and Ronald is not helpful to Christina. Can he be that far out of control? The grandfather, Donald, is struggling with his physical limits, and Nicolas is not stepping up that much.

What will Episode 3 reveal about the racers and who will be eliminated next. Watch Sunday, November 18 at 8PM Eastern/Pacific, or after 60 Minutes, if delayed by football.
