Describe how users can become more competent in using new technology.
The technology installed maybe very good, but unless the users know how to use it, the full benefits will not be realized. Training and support are most important.
Training is required when the technology is implemented but also during its period of use. Part of the continuing management function is to analyze the skills users require and ensure that they have them.
Other forms of support can be the set up of an Help Desk. The effectiveness of the Help Desk would also need to be continually monitored.
