This section has couples that don't involve any of the five core characters (so that's why it's called "external").

#12 and #86

Proof:
  • Well, #86 said that #12 was the closest thing to a friend she ever had, and when she asked #12 why she was betraying the KND, there were broken hearts in the background. ^^;;
Tako's Opinion: Well, I wouldn't pair #86 up with #12, but I can see how it works.
Ika's Opinion: 12/86? Uh, well, they weren't even quite friends, so I don't think that they could be a couple really.

#23 and #35

Proof:
  • At the end of Operation: S.L.U.M.B.E.R., when #23 was having trouble fighting a football player guy, #35 said, "Mind if I cut in?" and punched the football guy, and then for the rest of the episode, they were standing right next to each other.
Tako's Opinion: Muhuhuhuhu, I think it's kind of cute. It instantly stood out to me.
Ika's Opinion: I think it's pretty cute. It seems like they could already be going out or something.

#30C and #86

Proof: None
Tako's Opinion: The person who thinks #3 is cute and the person who thinks #4 is cute. I guess that's where people are coming from with this. I think it's cute, but I already have too many 86 couples that I support. ^^;;;
Ika's Opinion: This is a random couple, but I guess if they met it could maybe work out, possibly...

#65.3 and Lizzie

Proof:
  • In Operation: L.E.A.D.E.R., Lizzie was kind of seducing Numbuh 65.3, and it was working. ^^;;;
Tako's Opinion: I didn't get to see LEADER until very late in the series and I had heard earlier that there was 65.3/Lizzie evidence in it and so I was kind of dreading it. But when I saw the episode, I couldn't help but think that the way they pulled off the proof was really cute and amusing, so I think that 65.3/Lizzie is a cute couple.
Ika's Opinion: Wow. I was surprised with the way they pulled this couple off. I was afraid that people just liked it because they were fat or something, but it was actually kind of funny. I don't really support it, but I think it's cute.

#86 and #206

Proof:
  • Er... well, he winked at her when he stole her plane. And she pinned him against the wall later. ^^;;;
Tako's Opinion: I must be the only person in the entire world that likes this couple. I pair people up with #86 waaaaay too much. But I think it would be cute in a pursuer-pursuee kind of way.
Ika's Opinion: It's not really a solid couple, but I guess it's okay.

Numbuh 206 pinned against the wall in Operation: F.U.G.I.T.I.V.E.

#86 and #274

Proof: Um... well...
Tako's Opinion: Muhuhuhu, to tell you the truth, I've been a fan of this couple ever since the first time I saw Operation: F.U.G.I.T.I.V.E. (the end of it). Don't you think it's absolutely the cutest couple in a love/hate relationship kind of way? What makes me like this couple is that #86 and #274 interracted for about a mere 4 seconds, yet this couple instantly popped into my mind.
Ika's Opinion: I think it's cute. It seems to me that #86 and #274 would make the perfect couple. I think that #86 is the type of character found, you know, in those manga stories, that have the main character girl who is either a) really mean to the person she likes or b) doesn't realize that she likes him, and I think #86 would fit into either one of those stories. So, yeah, I think they'd make a good couple. Tako and I actually agree on this one. o_O

Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 274 have a healthy amount of competition between them. (Op. FUGITIVE)

#86 and #362

Proof: Well, there's not really anything solid, but in Operation: F.U.G.I.T.I.V.E., you get the feeling that #86 looks up to #362 as a kind of role model.
Tako's Opinion: Usually, I don't take a female/female couple and say, "Wow, it's cute!" but for some reason, I'm really fond of this one. I have no idea why. I've seen some people say, "Just look at the end of FUGITIVE! Isn't that enough to tell you that 86/362 is impossible?!" That's a good point, but I still like 86/362 a lot. ^^;;;
Ika's Opinion: Hm... it's okay. I can see #362 as #86's role model, as in she looks up to her as a great Kids Next Door operative, but... maybe it's not like that? I don't particularly like it, but there's nothing really wrong with it.

#274 and #362

Proof: Um... er...
Tako's Opinion: Muhuhuhu, to tell you the truth, I also imagine a love triangle between #86, #274, and #362. Mwahahaha. #274 and #362 are, like, the best of the organization (best operative, best spy), so I think it'd be an interesting couple.
Ika's Opinion: This couple is pretty cute, but I always imagined #274 was younger than 362 and looked up to her. However, after END, I guess that isn't possible... It's still a pretty cute couple.

#362 and Tommy

Proof: All this proof is from Operation: G.R.A.D.U.A.T.E.S.
  • #362 became really embarrassed after seeing Tommy in his birthday suit and made an excuse to exit the room.
  • Tommy saved her from the animal-ifying ray when #362 fell down.
  • #362 apologized when Tommy felt left out of battle and when he couldn't re-enter the Kids Next Door, and she also put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him when he was sad about what happened to #2.
Tako's Opinion: Aww, I think it's a cute couple. There is a pretty big age difference between them, but I'm not really bothered by age differences, so I think it's pretty cute.
Ika's Opinion: I don't really like Tommy/362 that much. It seems to me that Tommy suddenly just appeared and that they don't really know each other. I guess this couple is okay, but I don't think it's that cute.

Sally and the leader of the Boys Next Door

Proof:
  • The leader guy was the first one to accept Sally and call her by her real name.
  • When the boy-ifying ray was completed, they hugged and then quickly stopped and started blushing/laughing nervously.
However:
  • The future has since changed, and so we can't tell what happened to them. They might not even exist anymore.
Tako's Opinion: I think it's a pretty cute couple. It's also a pretty open couple, as in you could write a good fanfic about them, or something.
Ika's Opinion: I think it's kind of cute. Since you've barely seen them, you can't say, "Oh, they're not good for each other," because you don't know their personalities, so the couple could happen.

Sally and the leader guy sharing an awkward moment, which often results from hugging people out of joy.

Tommy and Mushi

Proof: Er... none. They probably don't know each other, but they might, seeing how their older siblings are part of the same KND group.
Tako's Opinion: I like this one, because, I must admit, 2/3 isn't very likely, so this is the next best thing. They're both really cute too.
Ika's Opinion: Well, they're about the same age, and I guess #2 and #3 could have introduced them to each other. They really have no connection, but I think it would be cute.

Tommy and Sonia

Proof:
  • Er... well, it's not really proof, but they interacted a lot in Operation: T.R.A.I.N.I.N.G.
Tako's Opinion: Wow, this couple instantly popped up at me just by the way that Tommy said "Sonia". Normally, I would like Lee/Sonia better, but Lee's interaction with Sonia was almost nothing.
Ika's Opinion: Well, it's not too bad. The only thing I have against it is that I'd like Lee/Sonia to have a chance, but it's not bad. Sonia's kind of annoying but still, I think it's cute.

Sandy and Mushi

Proof:
  • Well, they became boyfriend and girlfriend at the end of Operation: K.A.S.T.L.E. 'Nuff said.
Tako's Opinion: This couple, to me, seemed like it had a lot of potential to be a really cute fluffy-fluffy couple, but... it was badly executed. Strangely, I found fanart of Sandy/Mushi to be cuter than the actual Sandy/Mushi events of Op. KASTLE. So um... I think that Sandy/Mushi could be a cuter couple, but it just didn't strike me as cute as I was watching KASTLE.
Ika's Opinion: I think it's okay. It's not particularly cute, but maybe their relationship will work out better than 3/Sandy. Then again, maybe not, because Sandy just likes girls because of their looks and not personality.

Chad and Cree

Proof:
  • Well... they went off together in a trash-ship. ^^;;;
Tako's Opinion: I can see where people are coming from with this couple, but I don't think that it has a lot of proof behind it. The couple itself... hm... it's okay, but not particularly cute in my eyes. They have a bit of an age difference, but for some reason, I think that makes the couple cuter. ^^;;;
Ika's Opinion: I admit that I was like, "Ooh! I see a couple forming," when I first saw the end of E.N.D., but now that I think about it, I don't really like it that much.

Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb

Proof:
  • Well...They always sit in the same seat, right next to each other. And I think, in No P in the OOL, Mr. Fibb was eating ice cream out of a cone in Mr. Wink's hand.
Tako's Opinion: Oh ho ho ho! I love this one. Kind of zany, but I like it anyway! Can't blame me. ^_^
Ika's Opinion: ........ I think it's stupid. I'd also like to say, as for that ice cream thing, Mr. Fibb has walrus hands, so he can't hold the ice cream cone. [But Mr. Wink was so sweet to hold it for him. ^__^ -Tako]

Mr. Wink and Clip Clop

Proof: In Operation: C.O.W.G.I.R.L., Clip Clop gives Mr. Wink a flirtatious glance and begins chasing after him.
Tako's Opinion: Hm... This is kind of weird, but I guess it's the natural follow-up to Mr. Fibb/Lasso Lass. Despite all of its oddness, it seems like it's likely to happen. If I didn't like Fibb/Wink so much, I'd like this one better.
Ika's Opinion: I think it's weird, but it's the best way to match up the members of the Cowboy Kids Club.

Clip Clop's flirtatious glance.

Mr. Fibb and Lasso Lass

Proof:
  • In Operation: C.O.W.G.I.R.L., it's evident that a) Mr. Fibb is still resentful that Lasso Lass refused to go to the prom with him, and b) Lasso Lass finds Mr. Fibb attractive as long as he has hair.
Tako's Opinion: It's okay, but Lasso Lass only likes him when he has hair. It's a bit of a superficial relationship, but that's okay because where would C:KND be without weird relationships? But on the other hand, when Lasso Lass tries to kiss Mr. Fibb, he runs away, so I think that maybe he doesn't really love her after all.
Ika's Opinion: Well, Lasso Lass seems to like Mr. Fibb enough to chase him, so I guess it could work. It's not exactly cute or anything, but it pairs up the CKC.

Look, Lasso Lass is trying to kiss him!
