Summary: The KND train against a giant robotic bunny piloted by Numbuh 3, and lose. While they take a break, they notice something very odd: there are turnips everywhere! They find giant turnip roots outside the treehouse, so they follow the roots to the giant mother of all turnips, being grown by a farmer, who Numbuh 3 claims is her grandfather. After attempting to fight the turnip's tentacle-roots and failing, the KND bring in Numbuh 3's robot, Hippy Hop. It arrives on the scene to save the day and begins preparing a massive artillery attack, but unfortunately, the turnip sees it and smashes it in one stroke. Frustrated, Numbuh 1 kicks the turnip, sending it rolling down a hill and into the ocean. That's the end of the turnip problem for the KND, but it somehow remains alive to cause trouble for people on a cruise ship.
Characters: Numbuhs 1-5, Hippy Hop, giant turnip, turnip farmer
Favorite quote: "She'll win the County Fair, hands down."
Interesting facts:

  • The turnip has a voice. It likes to roar.
  • Numbuh 3 has a watch-phone that is shaped like a bunny.
Good points:
  • Hippy Hop!
  • The ending. Unexpected and very funny.
Bad points:
  • Er... Why did Numbuh 3 call the turnip farmer her grandfather...?
  • It didn't make sense at times--they didn't have to use the P.I.P.E.P.O.D. They could've just followed the turnip's roots from above and they'd probably be able to see the turnip a mile away.
Tako's rating:
I thought this episode was rather amusing. It was kind of strange that Numbuh 3 thought the turnip farmer was her grandfather. And although I like the P.I.P.E.P.O.D., I don't think it was needed in the situation. However, this episode was pretty funny, especially the turnips that were sentient.
Ika's rating:
I thought T.U.R.N.I.P. was kind of confusing. First they see all the roots of the turnip and was like "Now we know where the turnips are coming from." But then they go to mission room and try to have the computer tell them where the turnips are coming from. When it doesn't, they use the P.I.P.E.P.O.D. to find the source, even though they probably didn't have to. This episode is kind of funny and has a good ending, although I don't get why Numbuh 3 kept calling the farmer her grandfather...

Summary: The Kids Next Door are fighting Big Brother, and Numbuh 2 manages to knock him out by bouncing around and luckily hitting him. The KND congratulate Numbuh 2, but run into a rude minigolfer, Rupert Puttkin. Numbuh 4 claims that Numbuh 2 could beat Rupert in minigolf, resulting in a match to prove it. By good luck, Numbuh 2 manages to win in a close game. Having lost, Rupert gets his revenge by shrinking Numbuh 2 and having a rematch in his cellar, with Numbuh 2 at a big size disadvantage. However, by good luck, Numbuh 2 ties Puttkin and looks like he'll win, so Puttkin reveals his scheme of using his shrinking ray to shrink the entire world to the size of a golfball. He activates the ray using Numbuh 2, but Numbuh 2 bounces around and sets the ray to bigify mode, ruining Rupert's plans and his cellar. Numbuh 2 returns to the clubhouse only to be used as the ball for a ping pong game.
Characters: Numbuhs 1-5, Rupert Puttkin, Big Brother, Rupert's mother, reporter, various people in audience
Favorite quote: "Defeat your nemesis later! Your pork chops are getting cold!"
Interesting facts:

  • This operation features two different transition thingies: one is a golf ball with Rupert's face on it and the other is one with Numbuh 2's face.
Good points:
  • The part when Rupert messes up because he yells, "'It's just a game'?!"
  • It's Numbuh 2-centric and he has some cute moments.
Bad points:
  • Poor, poor Numbuh 2.
  • Agh! The monuments get destroyed!
Tako's rating:
This episode was okay. Numbuh 2 did a lot of bouncing around and then at the end, he was used as a ping pong ball. The humor was good, but I didn't really like Rupert Puttkin. He was odd, not in a humorous way, but in a way that just made you think he was odd. I must say, though, that I liked the pacing and music in this episode.
Ika's rating:
This episode wasn't that bad. I agree that the ending was kind of mean to Numbuh 2, but there were a lot of good quotable moments in this episode (i.e. "Maybe it's one of my fans."). Also, I found Rupert Puttkin kind of funny how he was like, "Miniature golf is a maaan's sport." I didn't like how the monuments of the Earth were destroyed, but I did like Rupert's mom.
