It Freakin' AMAZES me........
....That people actually give in to the concept of a 'god'.
90% of the world's population actually believes that there is some
SUPREME, OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT, CREATOR OF ALL,
ALL-LOVING BEING.
Now, you may argue that that amount of people all believing in the same thing
probably
can't be wrong.
And in many cases with various subjects, I would agree with you.
But not THIS case.
Why do you buy into it?
Its a STORY made up by man in order to gain control of the masses.
The most logical way of doing that is by instilling FEAR into people.
And enough of those who claim they don't fear anything.
BULLSHIT.
If you didn't fear the 'consequences' of not believing, than you wouldn't
spend so much time
Believing, or practicing it.
You are afraid of screwing up; pissing off god.
You fear sin so much that you pray your butts off whenever you feel you've
sinned.
(hence confessional)
You spend SO much time and energy in doing all the 'right' things during
THIS life so that you
will go to a heaven in the 'next' life.
Did you ever consider that perhaps you lived in a
PREVIOUS life?
And if so, isn't it possible that you had the same beliefs IN that life?
If that's so, then I guess all of that believing and praying you may have
done
in that previous life was a waste of time, because look at where you are
NOW.
Does this life and planet look like your idea of heaven?
So why are you convinced that heaven is coming
NEXT?
"Well, I'd rather be safe than
sorry."
In other words, you're ok with living your (possible) various existances
worrying about what's
coming next.
You actually buy that????
Now, I am fully aware that any question I present on here can also be asked
of ME by a believer.
However, this site isn't about asking ME.
Its about questioning BELIEVERS.
I have thoroughly stated my stance and backed it up w/reasons all over
this site.
Now its YOUR turn to make sense.
What doesn't make
sense:
1. Believing in the man-made myth of a heaven and
hell.
2. Living your life in hopes you will enter
heaven and fearing hell.
3. Living your life believing you're some servant
to god.
As for this one, I find it ironic how you are willingly wanting to serve
god, yet you find
it pathetic that people throughout history owned slaves who served them.
The slaves served man in hopes of earning their freedom, for a better life.
Believers serve their god in hopes of getting into heaven for a better
afterlife.
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE.
4. Viewing heaven in terms of what makes you
happy on Earth.
Think about this....many of you believe you will reunite with your loved
ones in heaven.
That suggests that you will all be in the same together.
Now, let's say that you have a friend who is of another race or color, and
let's say your Grandfather (who has passed)was always prejudice against that
race and color.
Do you think your Grandfather's idea of heaven was having people of his prejudice
in heaven
WITH HIM?
Isn't that a contradiction?
"But there is no prejudism in
heaven"
Well then , how 'bout you think Grandpa would have felt about
that?
Plus, I get a kick out of those brochures I receive that depict heaven as
a city within a globe,
and this city has highrisers that sparkle, and streets made of gold and
jewels.
And then hell is promoted as fire and dragons.
<makes you wonder why the church had such an issue with the game
of
Dungeons & Dragons.....afterall, it was simply depicting EXACTLY what
the church
already believes in>
C'mon people!
Pull your heads out.
I could go on and on, but I'll save it for the other areas of this
site.
It amazes ME how SOOOO wrong
you are!
GET ME OUT OF HERE!
