"HEAVEN"

Below are some thoughts on the holiest of holys'.

Generally speaking, when it comes to a religious debate, its highly suggested that each party first define their beliefs in order to make them clear to everyone, which allows for a more accurate discussion.

With that said, I will state MY understanding of what a heaven supposedly is solely based on the various opinions I have received from various believers.

HEAVEN: a place of eternal good. A place of eternal love, beauty and happiness. Nothing evil precides there (that's what a hell is for). Laughter, love, angels, and fortune.

Therefore, if god feels a person is bad or evil, they go to hell. So, the question is, what does god consider bad or evil? Man has his/her opinions on that, but those shouldn't matter because its GOD who does the judging.

Now, since its god's judgement, do you think that means he'll base that judgement on my lifetime of sins, or just a few? And will he rate them? Afterall, whether I brutually murdered ONE person or serial killed, I'm still going to have that priest preaching for the lord to have mercy on my soul or giving me the chance to accept jesus as my savior at the last second during my walk down that green mile.

WHY?

Shouldn't my actions have made me the poster child for hell?

Do believers actually feel that my soul STILL has a chance for heaven DESPITE my terrible sinful deeds?

What if it was YOUR family member I murdered?

Honestly, are you going to ask that the "lord have forgiveness on his soul"….or are you going to wish me to HELL???????

Now, let's say that you have eventually passed on and you arrive to heaven, and lo and behold, you see that MURDERER there, that person who killed your loved ones. And there he/she is, having the most glorious time in heaven.

Apparently god had forgiven them for their acts of rape, torture and murder towards your loved one. Apparently they had accepted god as their savior AFTER their brutual acts but just in time to make it to heaven.

How do you feel about that????

Maybe, before you died, you spent numerous years in pain and agony over your spouse or child being murdered, and all you could think of during those years was "Thank god that criminal is burning in hell!!!!".

Yet, there they are, in heaven with you.

You spent the majority of your life being a good person, loving your family, watching them grow, possibly going to church, etc. And yet you are now in heaven and what do you see: some murderer who tortured your loved one, perhaps spent their life as a criminal, and now here they are in the SAME place you are after death, because they chose to accept god right before death, and god ACCEPTED THEM.
