A FREAK MADE ARGUMENT W/ A BELIEVER
ABOUT GOD

I am a student of philosophy, and the philosopher who has inspired me most was
SOCRATES
.
His deductive form of arguing was referred to as the
'Socratic Method'
.
The following is a fictional argument created by me in the vein of the Socratic Method.
(my comments are in
Green; my opponent's in Red
)

Now before you (the reader) read this, I want to state that I open to any responses you may have
regarding this argument. Perhaps you will have comments, questions or other directions you may
have taken this conversation. If so, I strongly support that you share them with me via e-mail.

Enjoy.

BELIEVER
Since you do not believe that God created us, how do explain our existance?

FREAK
I have no definite explanation for our existance, no one does, but I ask you.....
why do you feel that a 'God' MUST have created us?
Now, before you answer that, I must first ask that you first DEFINE your own opinion
of what 'god' is or does.

BELIEVER
God is the almighty. He is theSupreme Being. He is all-knowing and all-loving.
He is the creator of all.

FREAK
Perfect.
Now, to answer your question, I must also use a question.....
Is it not possible that 'Aliens' created us? Created our world and humans which inhabit it?

BELIEVER
'Aliens'?

FREAK
Yes. Beings which live outside of our planet. Is it possible that other life forms outside
our planet created us?

BELIEVER
Absolutely.
Then the question remains.....who created these 'aliens'?

FREAK
Again, it remains unknown. Only speculation.

BELIEVER
Therefore, why not speculate that the creator of these aliens was God?

FREAK
Ok. Why, based on your definition of a god, must we assume/accept that aliens were
created by this god? What purpose does that serve?
