Fatal Rabbit Disease are a three peice Metal/Rock band from Chelmsford (Essex) that have been going since the 30th of August 2002 although they only started getting serious that christmas. They used to have a lighter approach with influences of the likes of InMe and Nirvana, now they are picking up some heavier traits from bands such as 36 Crazyfists and From Autumn To Ashes. In their older songs they had a certain something that made their music instantly recognisable, something that they can only describe as FRD. They aim to put this same factor in their new songs and break onto the UK music scene with an exuberant and momentus force. FRD create without intention for a genre, but most songs seem to sway towards their favoured genre, metal. The name Fatal Rabbit Disease was formed when Adam was looking through a dictionary and found the word myxomatosis which meant 'contagious fatal viral disease of rabbits' from this he got the name Fatal Rabbit Disease and decided it would be perfect for the band. All band members were born on the year of the rabbit, coincedence? Or something more? FRD have had three previous members Jonathon Morris/Modge (Guitar) Ben Simpson (Drums) and Dan Hearnah (Drums). |
