FranzKafka's Ad-hoc-critiques — How it works.
In this column are links to the discussed chapter and, in some cases links to earlier chapters, eventually to the concerning subchapter. Above we see a direct link to the discussed chapter on Nick's site. |
The middle column takes the text of my ad-hoc-critiques. It remained unchanged — except for editing spelling and grammar errors. No other changes were made. That means, that the text shows the knowledge I had in the moment, when the chapter was new. The main reason for doing my ad-hoc-critiques was the urge to react on events in the story. I wanted to avoid multi-message-posting for each chapter, so I started with my "Thoughts on chapter..." — writing them down, while I read the story, switching between the browser's and text editor's windows every few seconds. Quotes from "Summer Camp" can be recognised in this HTML version through the background color: |
The right column may contain links, corrections, or remarks by others. They've not been in the original.

"Mom's fine," I reassured her. "She was calling to tell me that a friend had died." | SC 1, 1 | ||

I retain original italics or bolds. If I felt to point out a special part of a quote, I made it red in this HTML version. I hope you'll enjoy this. FranzKafka79 |
Above is an example, how the chapter from which the quote was taken is denoted, e.g. Book 1, Chapter 1 (Only given if different from the discussed chapter.) |
