With the guidance of adult volunteers, girls and young women develop values for living, leadership skills, and goal setting abilities that prepare them to become contributing members of society.
Girl Scouting is also about fun, exploration, and adventure. Scouting helps girls to discover passions and abilities, giving them a chance to challenge themselves in a multitude of ways -- whether it's climbing a rock wall, running a holiday gift drive, or teaching a class.
Through the guiding words of the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law, girls involved in the Girl Scout Program strive to be the best they can possibly be, while also enriching those around them.
