In the Spring of life it seems,
We follow, more than anything,
What seems as if to be a light
Touching every sense, but sight.
In the Summer life just may
Surprise us, in a special way.
Its bright and gay awakenings,
Exotic, vintage memories.
The Fall can make us sit and sigh.
And, in an awe we wonder why
The fast and airy shove-around
The system always puts us down.
And, in the Winter we close our eyes
To all we've seen, to all we've felt,
To all we've heard, or touched, and smelled,
To touch the sum of life.
