Somewhere There Is A Man
Somewhere there's a man
that is waiting for his time.
Some may say "he's not fat,""he's not thin,"
"he's just a human being."
But his soul, oh Lord
that's the one thing we must fear,
that if something goes wrong
don't let him leave us here.
Somewhere there's a man
that is using all his time
to be ready for the day
all the bells in the world will chime
like angels announcing the coming.
We'll see him glowing,
and at last he will regain
his throne and his domain.
Somewhere there's a man
simply waiting for his time.
He's been waiting for so long
that his heart is beating strong.
And when his day arrives
there will be no more cries.
Peace and love he'll realize,
"Pray for Glory," he'll sermonize.
Somewhere there's a Man
that's stronger than time.
He's forever been with us
and forever He will be.
But this world is just another
of the many He's the King.
Some will say "He's the Lord,""He's the King,"
"He's not simply a human being."
Praise the Lord for His coming!
Praise the Lord, for He is coming!
