Biography

 
  My name is Francisco Beltran Moreso and, like my name may indicate, I�m 
not American. I was born in Barcelona, Spain way back in 1970. 

  I�m not just Spanish, but Catalan as well. If you are not familiar
with this concept, I am sorry for the confusion; Catalonia 
is a region of Spain with its own culture, language, regional 
government and history. We have a rich culture, which dates 
before Spain was even a country per se or had that name. For regional 
government we have the Generalitat. Our  history is long and full 
of problems, but the future seems brighter every day. 

    Spain, instead is like a different country for us Catalans, 
for the policy of the capital of Spain, Madrid, with the location of the national 
government over there, it�s always been of centralization. 
However, the policy of my people has always been of
decentralization, also know as independence. This movement has 
always been popular among European nations and it is usually the 
exception, not the norm when countries unite. 

  The European Comunity is a divided one and it seems sometimes that the only 
reason we are together is for convenience, not choice. My 
personal position on this matter, however is irrelevant, for 
I am proud of being what I am and things seem different from a 
distance.

  It�s been a while since I�ve been in Europe at all, since I�ve
been living in the U.S.A. for a few years now, and I don�t feel 
completely sorry about it, just a little home sick now and then. 
The culture is different, and I miss my old ways 
and place, but I am trying to get a future here. I am a graduate from
 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor's of science in 
 Aerospace Studies.

On the side, I have a passion for writing,
as I hope it can be seen on this page. I have published my work
on some places on the Internet, and on the University newspaper.
 
  I have done extensive works, which are not yet on any page, 
including mine, for it takes time and patience to do so. I am 
putting material constantly and this page will only keep on 
growing with time.
  I also have a passion for design which can be seen on some panphlets and
brochures that I have conceived.

  I have three sisters. Their moral and financial support
has always been great and I owe them a great deal. Most specially
I owe my sister Esther, without whom I would not have reached many
of the goals that I can now say I have accomplished. I also owe
my parents; My father for the money he�s spent on me, my mother
for everything I am. Her sacrifice in life for my welfare has 
been so great that I can say I will not be able to be to my 
future children as she was with me. 
  
  I�ve been writing short-stories and novellas since 1992, and 
poems for only a few years. I have also other hobbies or 
passions than writing, like drawing, model kits (specially of 
Star Wars), science-fiction of any kind, but specially the good 
kind, travel, electronics (owning them, that is), play with 
computers, the Internet, gardening, nature, movies, girls and 
Rock and Roll. Well, not really. Erase the Rock and Roll part and
put music like Gospel, Soft Rock, Classical, Opera, Ballads and 
Pop, and keep the girl stuff too. 

  I think that I already said a lot about me. I hope you enjoy or
have enjoyed the page.
