    Bill's Blues

Rain or shine
He gets them every time
And when they see the light
They run with all they might
To ask him for forgiveness
Sometimes they have a witness
They tell him to ask this other
Who knows, maybe a brother?

Rain or shine
He gets them all the time
But he doesn't share their sorrow
"They should've thought about the tomorrow."
So, no matter how they feel
They might as well file an appeal
For there is something they don't realize
He is a person that can't be patronized
