Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), is the Law that gives us the ability to get our disabled children an appropriate education.  In 2004 it was changed by the Bush "no child left behind" philosiphy.  To the left there are links for the original act (as I first read it anyway) and also to the new Law.

The DDD It is NJ state run and to qualify for services you must have a lifelong developmental disorder, which was diagnosed before a certain age (I am not sure of all the details.)  It is a long process to qualify but in the end there are services available especially after all the public school services are finished*(after Graduation) Here is a link to their homepage.

Here is Dr Robert Naseef's Page.  He is a professional and a parent of a Developmentally Disabled child.  He is A GREAT RESOURCE; he is very insightful and does a lot of Fathers stuff.
