Vanessa walked into Nick�s house with Nick close behind. She flipped on a light and looked around it was surprisingly clean. She was expecting to see a few clothes scattered about from when he packed to go on tour but there was none. Nick flopped down on to the couch and sprawled out.
�It�s good to be home,� he said smiling, his blue eyes sparkling as he looked up at Vanessa. She sat down next to him. He sat up and ran his fingers through her hair.
�I�ve missed you so much. You don�t even know how hard it is to be away from you I'm crazy about you.� He leaned forward and gently kissed her on the lips.
�I know how hard it is I'm crazy about you. I am so glad that we�re finally able to spend some time together.� She put her head on his chest and he put his arms around her.
After a lot of cuddling and talking Nick asked, �Hey what were you talking about when we were at the airport and you said Angela couldn�t be without AJ anymore?�
Vanessa sat up and let out a small gasp, �Oh my gosh I totally forgot about the�� she dug in her pocket and pulled out the now crumpled letter.
�I was supposed to give this letter to AJ but when I saw him with Amanda I decided it wasn�t such a good idea. Nick she is so in love with him. They�ve been talking on the phone but I don�t think he mentioned anything about Amanda so she thought that maybe he would want to try it again�Nick�uhh, what are you doing?�
She watched as he unfolded the letter. �I'm going to see what it says then you can decided whether or not you want to give it to him. Besides I kinda want to see what it says anyway.�
�I don�t know Nick she might be angry if��
Too late he started to read it out loud:
�Dear AJ,
I wish I could have been there to meet you and the guys at the airport, I miss you all so much. I especially miss you. I know I should tell you this in person but I can�t wait. I need to tell you something and I want to know how you feel. What I need to tell you is the I love you so much AJ, I think you might know that part already. I was hoping we could give our relationship one more try. We had such a wonderful time when we were together. Despite our one difficulty, but I really hope we can be together again. What I need to know is how you feel about what I just told you. I was such a jerk when we broke up but I was so hurt by what had happened. If you don�t feel like being in a relationship with me I can understand and I hope that we can remain good friends. Please call me when you�ve decided how you feel. I love you AJ.
Vanessa and Nick looked at each other.
�Well what are you going to do?� Nick asked her.
�God, Nick I don�t know. How happy is AJ with Amanda? I mean are they serious or are they �off-on� again?�
�Well�AJ seemed kinda distant from her but they did have their fun times. I don�t know either. Maybe we should just wait a couple of days and I might come to us,� he said as he refolded the letter.
�Yeah. I guess you�re right.�
I looked at the clock it was 9:30. I started giving up on anybody calling me. �They are probably getting comfortable or something.� I thought to myself as I got ready for bed. They�ll probably call tomorrow. I crawled into bed and was just about to go to sleep when the phone rang. I sprang out of bed and answered it. �Hello,� I said calmly.
�Hey girl we�re baaaccckkk.� I smiled at AJ husky voice. He sounded so sexy. �So what�s up?� he asked.
�Nothing much what�s up with you, how was your flight?� I asked not wanting to rush him about the letter.
�Oh you know same old thing, but it was good. I saw Vanessa she looked extremely happy to see Nick. Oh and I got this great shirt when we were�I can�t remember exactly where we ere but it phat and I knew you love it so I of course had to get it-it�s red and has this black�hold on someone on my other line.� He clicked over. I smiled hoping he would mention the letter.
�Okay and I hope you don�t mind but I got you these great pants to go with it they look awesome together so imagine how they�ll look on you.� he took a breath. �I�ll send them back with Vanessa.� He said slowly.
�Thank you AJ you�re always so thoughtful. Speaking of Vanessa what do you think of the letter?�
�Uhh, she didn�t write me a letter,� he said sounding confused.
�I know I wrote you one she was supposed to give it to you but I don�t think she did, did she?�
�No but she was probably just so excited to see Nick that she forgot.�
�Yeah probably.� I was alittle disappointed he didn�t get it yet.
�What did it say anyway?� he curiously asked.
�Well it says that I�� I suddenly found myself extremely shy. �I�d like you to read it.�
�Okay I�ll stop by Nick�s tomorrow and get it. Look I have to get going but I�ll talk to you soon.�
�Bye.�
After we hung up I laid in bed for a few minutes before falling fast asleep.
