Although FQPI is a relatively new company, the directors
behind are scions of renowned pillars in the shoemaking
industry and are experts in the fields of: Manufacturing,
Retailing, and Freight Forwarding. They are also a recognized
key player in the field of Network Marketing and Direct
Selling.
The company's directors also pride themselves in the fact
that they are descendants of Laureano Guevarra, or more
popularly known in Marikina as "Kapitan Moy",
the acknowledged founder of the Philippine Shoe Industry.
Backed by 38 solid years of manufacturing experience,
the footwear styles of FQPI has long been recognized for
its well-spring of Filipino creativity inspired from characteristically
elegant European styling.
It is the harmonic juxtaposition of current trends in
international fashion and the shoemaking tradition of
Marikina which makes each shoes of First Quadrant Philippines,
Inc. a truly remarkable footwear creation.
At present, hand-made craftsmanship is augmented by shoemaking
machineries which the company acquired from Lampomachine
International, an Italian engineering firm. This technical
innovation not only increased the volume of production,
but also enhanced and systemized the standard quality
of manufactured shoes. FQPI is also working closely with
PK Consult Ltd., a German Consulting Firm with expertise
on the technical aspect of shoe manufacturing, for its
continuous upgrading. Exports to Europe, United States,
United Kingdom, and Australia attest to the quality of
their shoes.
FQPI's directors are also regular participants in international
shoe fairs and expositions in the United States, Europe
and Hongkong which updates them in the latest trends in
shoe design and manufacturing techniques.

First Quadrant was organized on January 8, 2002.
In just one year, it was an instant success.
Other multi-level marketing* companies sell imported, foreign-brand
goods. But at First Quadrant, we are proudly 100% Pinoy.
On its first year, First Quadrant earned the 2002 National Consumers
Choice Award for Top Multi-Level Marketing Company of the Year.
Clearly, First Quadrant is also No. 1 among consumers. And on
its second year, 2003, it did a repeat of this achievement as
it was oncemore given the same award.

the Philippine Footwear Federation, Inc. D. Tactacan Shoe Manufacturing

Excellence Awards given by the National Consumer Affairs Foundation
in 2002 as the Best Shoe Manufacturer.
First Quadrant will soon reach markets abroad for its products
and innovative marketing plan. Modesty aside, the products of
the company's lead manufacturing arm, D. Tactacan Shoe
Manufacturing, have reached foreign shores. We market classy,
high-quality and reasonably priced footwear, leather goods, and
fashion accessories. A member of the Philippine Footwear Federation,
Inc. and backed by 38 years of manufacturing experience, First
Quadrant continues to strive for excellence.
We regularly participate in international shoe fairs and expositions
here and abroad to keep the shoe designs current and trendy, and
to update manufacturing techniques. We combine international fashion
trends with the shoemaking traditions of Marikina, making truly
remarkable creations worth exporting to Europe, the United States,
United Kingdom, and Australia. We use state-of-the-art machinery
from Lampomacchine International, an Italian engineering firm,
to improve the quality of our shoes and systematize manufacturing.
We draw on the expertise of our German consulting firm, PK Consult
Ltd., particularly in the technical aspects of shoe manufacturing.
