Stormy

Stormy is our newest addition. Isn't he cute...I mean, handsome? Don't worry, Stormy is a house bunny. He doesn't live outside, but it's very hard to get a decent indoor shot that shows how gorgeous he his, so we decided to try taking some outdoor pictures :o).
Stormy is a real character! What he lacks in size, he certainly makes up for in personality. In the short time that he's been with us, he has already established himself in the "pack", making it very clear to our other pets that he is in charge. Furball, the self-appointed Ruler of the House, is more than a little annoyed at having to share HER Human Slave.
Much to my surprise (and relief!), Stormy is very well-behaved for a bunny. He spends as much time out of his cage as I can provide him, which is at least a few hours a day, sometimes more. He has never chewed on anything (he did nibble my cell phone charger cord, but that was my fault for leaving it where he could get it). He's very calm and loves to be petted. If I'm sitting on the floor not paying attention to him, he'll hop over and nudge my hand until I pet him. Though Stormy enjoys his freedom and being able to explore, he spends the majority of his out-of-cage time sleeping (and in some of the most ridiculous positions, too!). On warm days, he spends a lot of time "chillin' out" by laying over the floor vent (Click here for a picture. Sorry for the poor picture quality. It is obvious that I am not a good photographer).
