| *Day of the Party* "Hey Steph!" I said as I met up with her at the beauty salon. "Hey." Steph said as we hugged each other. "Well, come on, let's go!" I said excitedly. We got the works. Manicure, pedicure, wraps, fake tanning, deep penetrating conditioning for our hair, facials and even waxing! "Ouch that freakin hurts!" Steph said after we finished waxing, "Dang...I know whatcha mean girl, I can't walk properly." I said as I limped around for effects. Steph laughed and said, "They said they can do make-up and hair with no extra charges, you wanna try it?", "Yeh okay!" I said shrugging my shoulders. "Hello ladies. You're having a relaxing time?" both my make-up artist and Steph's said, "Yeh, I'm in pain from the waxing though." I said laughing. "Yeh, that one really bites." my make-up artist said. "Yeh, what's your name?" I asked smiling, "It's Joy. Your's is?" Joy said, "Alexis, but call me Ali." I said smiling. "Nice to meet you, so what are you wearing for this dinner tonight?" Joy asked as she played around with my hair. "Well I'm wearing this white sparkly dress thing." I said not explaining my dress very well. "That's very descriptive." Joy said laughing. "Okay, let me try again, I'm wearing a strappy white sprakly dress with white sparkly stilletos and my white silk handbag." I said laughing. "Okay, that's good. I'm thinking of putting hair extensions on you..." Joy said as she fluffed up my hair, "Yeh sure! What about make-up?" I asked smiling, "Hmm...I think really natural..glittery eyes, rosy cheeks, and really really really glossy berry lips." Joy replied as she looked at my bone structure. "Okay...I'll just trust you with everything." I said smiling. So I got long straight extensions, like Jennifer Aniston but a bit longer. It took ages and I even fell asleep for about half an hour. "Ali, wake up honey, I need to do your make-up." Joy said laughing, "Huh?? Oh my jebes my hair is long... I have long hair! Steph!! I have long hair!" I said to Steph excitedly, "Oh my gosh! That looks really good girl." Steph said as she looked towards me. "Sorry, just over excited about having long hair." I said sitting up straight again. "It's okay. Now it's make-up time." Joy said laughing. When she finished I couldn't even believe it was me. I mean, I had nice skin beforehand but my skin was flawless with the make-up and my eyes were huge, I had really strong cheekbones and really glossy lips. "Oh my gosh, is that even me?" I said as I looked in the mirror." Yeh, that's you...you look gorgeous dah-ling!" Joy said immatating a frenchmen. "Thank you so much, you're a genious!" I said as I smiled at her. "It's a pleasure working with you." Joy said hugging me, "Well I know I'll come here more often." I said hugging her back. "Here, have the lipgloss. It's new don't worry." Joy said handing me a box. "Aww thank you so much." I said smiling at her. "It's okay, but be sure to have me as your make-up artist if you even come back!" Joy said smiling. "I'm sure I will. I better go cause I already lost Steph." I said laughin. "Okay, seeya Ali!" Joy said as I walked away, "Seeya Joy!" I said as I caught up with Steph. "Oh my gosh Steph, you look gorgeous!" I said as I saw her. "You too...I love the hair." Steph said as she touched my hair cautiously to see if it's real. "It's real, don't worry..." I said smiling as I went up to the front and paid for everything. "Well, you're getting ready at my house right?" Steph asked as she payed for herself. "Yup, I got my stuff in the cupboard." I said as I went and grabbed my bag. "Thanks, seeya!" we both said to the receptionist and went home to Steph's house. "Oh my gosh! Where's my lipgloss!" I said panicking, "Here." Steph said as she handed it to me and looked at herself in the mirror as well. "I can't believe this is actually happening." I said as I put my lipgloss, wallet and mobile phone in my handbag. "I know! We're gonna be meeting 'N Sync in like an hour!" Steph said excitedly. "Tell me about it! I'm like pissing my pants at the moment." I said laughing. "Same! But don't worry, we both look so bomb. I love that cross necklace but I cannot believe that it's like $2000 and your mom got it for ya!" Steph said laughing as we looked at each other in the mirror. "Hey! It was my birthday present aight?" I said as I smoothed out my dress and touched my necklace softly. It's kinda like a goodluck charm for me now, I've never taken it off since my birthday and fells really uncomfortable without it. Then suddenly the doorbel rang. "That must be Katie my aunt." Steph said as we both bolted towards the door. "Hi Ka...'N Sync????" Steph said as she opened the door. "Ali, I'm hallucinating right? Right????" Steph said as she looked at me strangely, "Uhmm...unfortunately no..." I said as I saw Justin looking as fine as can be. "Hey, you must be Stephanie and Alexis." the guys said laughing at our reactions. "Uhmmm yeh. Hi...nice to meet you." I said as I stuck my hand out nervously. "And you're Alexis I'm guessing?" JC said smiling and shaking me hand, "Yeh, I'm Ali, that's Steph." I said calming down a little bit. "H...hi..." Steph stammered out nervously, "Hey." Chris said smiling at her. " Heya baby! Do you come here often?" Joey said hitting on both of use while he wiggled his eyebrows up and down. "You dumbass Joey, I live here." Steph said laughing, both of us loosening up towards them. "So you guys ready to go now?" Lance asked smiling, "Yup. Let's go." I said as Steph locked the doors. "Guys...we're not gonna fit in the car..." Steph said as she realised we're gonna go in a 5 seated car. "Ohh...we didn't realise that...well that's okay. Both of you girls can sit on the guys lap." JC said, "Well, I'm guessing one of you is gonna sit on my lap?" Joey said flirting. "Joey, they're minors, don't hit on them." Lance said laughing. "So?" Joey said, "JOEY!" we all said laughing at him. "Well I'll sit on your lap anywayz." Steph said to Joey smiling. "Aight! I don't have a problem with that." Joey said smiling. "Who's lap are you gonna sit on?" Chris said to me, "Uhmmm I dunno..." I said looking around at the guys. "You can alwayz sit on mine..." Justin offered smiling, "Well, I see you found your voice...Sure." I said smiling. "Aight!!!! Let's go!" JC said as we climbed into the car. It felt so weird sitting on his lap. I didn't know what to do. Halfway through the journey I felt his arms snake around my waist. I turned around to question him but got cut off by him saying, "Safety reasons." and smirked. "I'm sure it is." I said laughing. 'Who are you to complain? There would be billions of girls that would kill to be in your place at the moment.' I thought to myself. "Well I can really talk to you." I said trying to turn my neck as far as possible. "Well you can always do this?" Justin said as he pulled my shoulders so that my head was on his shoulders. "Well, you're very subtle aren't you?" I said laughing. "More subtle than Joey." Justin said as he pointed at Joey trying to 'accidently' put his hand on Steph's butt. "Hmmm...I think so too." I said as I laughed. "Can I ask, does Joey hit on EVERY girl that he sees?" I asked laughing, "Yup, that sounds like Joey to me. He hits on anything that breathes." Justin said laughing. "Hmmm...I'm starting to feel sorry for Steph." I said joking around. "Nah, don't worry, he'll take good care of her." Justin replied smiling. |
