Have you heard the word?? Women's Word is a program brought to you by the Ban Righ Centre at 32 Bader Lane, which has been supporting women's learning for over 30 years. We focus on support for mature female students, women's issues, in addition to inspiring people and events of interest to women at Queen's and in the community. Brew up a pot of tea and join Daniella and Andrea for great conversation!

Queer with Straight, Queer with Queer, Fag Hag, Dyke Diva, Fairy Godmother, Dyke Tyke, Fag Stag. Whoever you have a friendship with, whether they are straight or queer, the makeup of your sexuality can play a strong role in the things you do and the things you discuss. Do you feel more comfortable hanging with other queer people, or with straight people? What makes the friendships different and unique? This week at COLA we will explore friendships with other queer friends and straight friends, and the merits and challenges associated with both. While looking at the types of friendships we each have currently and the way we define them.
COLA is open to people in all stages of the coming out process, from questioning to out and proud. Kingston residents as well as Queen's, St. Laurence, RMC and high school students are welcome. New members are always welcome. Just show up! We often go out for coffee at the Sleepless Goat afterwards.
