August 2006
Okay, okay, okay....I know exactly what you are thinking. "IT'S ABOUT BLOODY TIME SHE  UPDATED THE WEBPAGE!!" I know, and I am terribly sorry. I'd use? the excuse that life has been very busy and crazy lately, but we're all busy. So, no excuses. Just apologies.
For 2006 life has been good to the Smiths. Ash turned 2, Max turned 4 and I've had a birthday (none of your business how old I turned:) Anyways. We went on our first trip to the States as a family of four. The trip itself to America was horrible, 38 hours with two toddlers is enough to make anyone commit themselves to therapy. But we all made it in one piece and had a great time. It was also great to come home. Max in still enjoying swimming lessons and has started "creative movement" which he loves! Ash is becoming a little boy, no longer a baby. He talks very well and does everything his big brother does. Dan is still working hard and his hockey team that he coaches it doing great. I just finished another musical, "Into the Woods" in which I was the assistant MD and played "Cinderella's Step-Mother." Next week, the theatre company starts rehearsals for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in which I have the lead, the Narrator.
Max shares some birthday cake with his grandma and uncle Connor.
Max and Ashton on Easter Sunday. They both ate their weight in chocolate eggs.
Ash is now sleeping in a big boy bed. (Not sure if he was trying to get in or out in this photo.)
Kara dressed up as "Cinderella's Wicked Step-Mother" in "Into the Woods."
The four of us visit the White House in Washington DC on our recent trip to the US.
Max and his daddy enjoy a trip out on the boat. Max is obsessed with boats.
