Varsha (pronounced vër-shä) is a Sanskrit word which means 'rain'.  I was born Aug 29th, 2003 at 3:39 PM and weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long.  I had a full head of pretty black hair and beautiful brown eyes.

I was born in Oakwood Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, Michigan.  Mommy's Ob/Gyn was Dr. Adilakshmi Kaza.

The name Varsha has a beautiful sound, and an equally beautiful meaning.  To define Varsha in  a sentence: Varsha is a cleansing, purifying, invigorating and life-giving force of nature.

Varsha also means 'year' in Tamil/Malayalam and has another meaning in Sanskrit which stands for 'celestial abode' as in Bharat-varsha, the Sanskrit name for India.
