Once upon a time, I had a quiz page. This quiz page was updated once a week with a multi-part question about whatever topic had caught my interest. I invited my visitors to send me the answers and I would list the names (or aliases) of those who did - even the people who were completely wrong got an honourable mention. To encourage entries when the topics were obscure, I also started posting the most creative answers. But my interest waned. (Notice this time I'm trying not to blaming others for the demise of a page?) And so the quiz page quietly disappeared. Quiz pages, however, are easy things to put together, and easy things to maintain, provided you don't rely on your own brain to come up with questions. That's what the incomparable Wikipedia is for - I plan to use the "Random article" link to find a topic. I could use the featured article, but that would be too easy. Besides, there are only 1,144,000+ articles in English... Kej Looking for the answers to previous questions? |
