9th May: Waking to a new paradisical beach, we practice our first beach breaks before the morning's Yoga. The breaks are harder to catch because the rips which suck you out between breaks continually move, or are only present at a certain distance from the beach. Sometimes you must go diagonally after paddling out about 50m to avoid the wash. If muscles can callous, that is how they feel now.. We last until the sun becomes a little hot around 11, then have a break, lunch and a game of international volleyball... As with most amateur beach volleyball sets, anyone over 5' can spike the ball over then net without jumping.. Our last night is spent using the remaining Tooheys and VB during endless drinking games..
