| 2005 Living History Day | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| On Friday, September 23, 2005, over 350 elementary and high school students received a taste of living history. The event began rather auspiciously on Thursday night. Mr. Foster was joined by other reenactors from the 4th OVI, Co. B for a night of camping and camaradarie around the campfire. We even surpised the marching with a musket salute!Unfortunately, severe thunderstorms chased us inside around midnight and forced Friday's activities inside as well. Thanks to a lot of cooperation by the faculty and staff, everything went pretty well for our first time. The elementary staff deserves a special thank you for preparing the fine me enjoyed by the presenters. |

| All of our presenters were gracious and wonderful. All of the presenters were from northwest Ohio with several being from the local counties. Ralph Borror as Abraham Lincoln was a very popular choice with students and adults alike. |

| Chuck Eberle (an actual descendant of the great general), provided an informative and entertaining portrayal of Robert E. Lee. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
