We went to a geocaching event in Coloma today. I've been collecting the plastic fork packs from salads and today I took it for the event kit. Of course, today they went all green, using real stainless forks and spoons. However, the bag went into the box, and they'll get used next time. It saves money.

There were people from Wisconsin and from Las Vegas. Pharaoh made a lot of friends. We'd hooked him up to the table chain, till I looked over and saw him ON the table. "DOWN!" I said, and he immediately lay down (he's never that speedy at home) on top of the table. So we moved him to a tree. We took him with us when we went looking for caches. Found two. (One in honor of Tanky, even though it wasn't dymo-label coordinates. We dashed over to join the crowd so we could add "collaborators." We're now up to 38 of the hundred we need.

My salad went well and again I've given away the recipe. I suspect that after a summer of this, I may be tired of it.

We learned the Snoqualmie Tunnel is closed indefinitely. Sulk! Next time we went up there I wanted to go back through it with Vince and Eric.

Afterwards we went for Jeo-rassic Park. The hardest part of this was finding the correct back road to the field where it is. You have to park down the road then walk along till you see the no trespassing sign, and go ahead and trespass... (there's also a "geo" sign.) The grass is long, but currently there's a cacher's trail, and there, indeed, is the ammo can...

Hilarious. Notice it's cleverly hidden under "twigs". It even had a food processor in it, and a 6' shoe rack.
