My weight is the same, and while I haven't started the round robin I have done more prep. I haven't done any knitting and only did the daily housework three or so days. There've been a couple of stories on the news this week about packrats living on top of their piles of trash. On beyond the pathways through the newspaper stacks! We aren't quite yet there.

I took Casey to the library program with the bubble lady today, which was a lot of fun. I really must start bringing my camera, since the kid is always volunteering, and this time was the first up. There've been some changes at the house: a new foster sibling was coming in, and the old one went to the Children's Home. We'll see how this impacts Casey's care.

Bush is losing his base. For someone who didn't want to repeat his father's mistakes, he's sure falling into the groove. He's GOT to win, though, because there's not a Donk except for LIEberman who would fight the terrorists. The rest of them would raise taxes to give to the welfare queens and roll over internationally. Bush should stop them cold instead of making them electable!

By statements like these you deny any honourable motives for the great job your people are doing here. How in your opinion will this affect the morale of your soldiers? Feeling that their people back at home don�t support them and that they�re abandoned to fight alone in the battlefield.

And all of this for what? For staying in the white house for 4 or 8 years? Is it worth it?

A substitute teacher was reprimanded for taping a kid's mouth shut. He seems really interested in quiet. I wonder if this was the same man I complained about at the same school when I was tutoring Sam. My complaint was that he told a couple of kids, including Sam, that their parents should be spanking them to make them behave better. I took that one directly to the principal: this is NOT how you speak to children who may come from abusive homes. Where did this man get his certificate?
