FOLKLORE FESTIVAL IN BOVEC (24.6. –
27.6.2004)
A mini folklore festival took place in Bovec
from 24th to 27th of June. There we hosted
three folklore groups from three different countries – the
Gorenjska region (Slovenija), Friuli (Italy) and from Czech
Republic. Firstly, on Thursday afternoon (27.6.) the Czech
arrived. They had their own performance in Bovec Cultural Hall
the next day. On Saturday came our guests from Naklo (Slovenija)
and Pasiano di Prato (Friuli, Italy).
In the afternoon we walked through Bovec in
our costumes and had a shorter performance. But in the evening
all four folklore groups dances on the stage in the centre of
Bovec.
On Thursday afternoon a bus stopped in front
of the Bovec Cultural Hall…
…then we took our guests to their
apartments…
On Friday evening Czech folklore group had their own performance in Cultural Hall.
